💚 March is Brain Injury Awareness Month

Every March, communities come together to shine a light on the millions of people living with the lasting effects of brain injury. This month is dedicated to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and championing early intervention and research.

Brain injuries can happen to anyone — through accidents, falls, sports, illness, or violence — yet their impact can last a lifetime.
Increased understanding leads to better support, less stigma, and more resources for recovery.

💚 Prestige Nursing & Care proudly specialise in Brain Injury Support, including support for individuals living with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), complex neurological care and spinal injuries. Our teams work alongside multidisciplinary professionals to provide tailored, high‑quality care for children and adults, helping them live safely and independently at home.

Please meet our owner and director, Daniel Bamber — a proud family man, music lover, passionate blogger, and football fanatic with a drive that inspires everyone around him.

Along with his brother, Daniel founded Prestige Nursing & Care in 2009 with a clear mission: to deliver outstanding, person-centred homecare that treats every client as an individual, with dignity, respect and genuine compassion.

What began as a small local service has grown into a trusted care provider supporting people across the community with a wide range of needs — from companionship and personal care through to complex and specialist support. Throughout this growth, Daniel has remained closely involved in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that quality, safety and kindness are never compromised.

With over 15 years of experience in the care sector, Daniel is deeply committed to building a service that families can rely on and that care professionals are proud to be part of. He believes that exceptional care starts with well-supported, well-trained and valued staff, and has invested heavily in developing strong leadership teams, robust clinical governance and a positive workplace culture.

Above all, Daniel is passionate about making a real difference to people’s lives — something that has remained at the heart of the business since the very first client was supported back in 2009.

Our Greater Manchester care team are looking for caring, reliable and professional colleagues to support individuals in their own homes across Wakefield and surrounding areas.

We play a key role in promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing while delivering high quality, tailored care.

We pride ourselves on the excellent care we deliver, specialising in brain and spinal injuries, complex care and children's support work.

As much as experience is highly preferred for this role, we will consider applicants that have either no experience, or come from other care related roles as we do offer excellent and high standard training.
