My work sits firmly sit well within the belonging or social need section. Because women need other women. We NEED to talk to each other.
We need to listen to each other, to support each other, to feel less alone.
And we need this more than ever during peri-menopause.
Because there's so little research, we're all fumbling along blind here.
Here are some real examples of the brilliance that's happened when I bring women together.
One woman told me she has permanent restless legs - which was driving her insane. Another lady in the audience recommended tonic water, which had solved hers. Now, this has NEVER been mentioned to me before, yet I work in this space. I learned something, and this perma-bouncy leg woman was thrilled to hear of something that might help
Libido conversations. I can't tell you how many women who actually admit that they have zero, that they're not doing it, they don't want to do it, but actually, admitting they miss it. The hilarity of it all when someone in the group said they'd recently secured testosterone from the GP and it had turned them into a 15yr old boy**… And then everyone was ALLOWED to talk about it, rather than it being hushed.
Dealing with horrible family members. By being able to speak openly and honestly about the stress this brings - gives us all permission to tap on it, and bring relief.
Tapping stops people being so annoying. It's ace :)
And most importantly, everyone feels seen, heard and valued.
So, A Very Peri Christmas is a few weeks of talking about, all this stuff.
Each week you get a recorded video from me, and then a live call to tap on it all.
