🎓 Happy International Day of Education🎓

Today, we celebrate how fortunate we are to have access to quality education – taking a moment to think of those who don’t yet have the same opportunities as we do.

That’s why we’re proud to host accessible education events for the UK radiology community, supporting continuous learning and professional development.

To keep our events inclusive and accessible, our events are free to attend, we ask for a £50 deposit, which is fully refundable upon attendance. Attendees also have the option to donate their deposit to Worldwide Radiology, helping fund radiology education and training in less resourced areas around the world.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers - 99.8% of cases are preventable with HPV vaccination and regular screening.

Yet around 3,300 people in the UK are diagnosed every year, reminding us how vital awareness and access to screening truly is.

🎉Congratulations to Freya and Terri for reaching ONE year at Atlas Diagnostics!🎉

Both joined our HQ team in MediaCityUK back in January 2025 and have each made incredible contributions over the last year!

👉Freya, our Operations Services Manager, plays a key role in supporting the majority of modalities across the company, including sonographers, plain film reporters, radiographers, and DEXA reporters. She works closely with numerous NHS Trusts and our clinical leads to ensure we deliver exceptional service and provide the necessary cover for sites requiring shifts.

👉Terri, our Marketing and Events Manager, manages the planning and delivery of all Atas marketing and events activity. Over the past year, Terri has been instrumental in growing our brand awareness across the UK, attracting new talent and new business opportunities.

Here's some amazing data 👀

In 2025 across all our services we had an incredible 14,434 shifts of which there were just 145 episodes of sickness 🥇

This gives an Atlas sickness rate of just 1% 🏆

For comparison the average NHS sickness rate in 2025 was 5.3%.

✅The above gets even better - of the 145 episodes of sickness, and due to the capacity within our team, we covered 62 of the shifts last minute, often same day - so our uncovered sickness rate was an amazingly low 0.58%…wow! 🥳

The countdown to Christmas is in full swing, and we’ve loved every moment! 🎄✨

At HQ, the team has truly embraced the festive spirit with plenty of cheer - from decorating the office and exchanging Secret Santa gifts to enjoying mulled wine and plenty of laughter together. It’s been a lovely way to celebrate the season and round off the year on a joyful note. ☺️
