Join the Atlas Diagnostics Educational Committee 📚🚀
Atlas Diagnostics is leading the way in diagnostic imaging, offering innovative, bespoke, and clinically led radiology staffing and services. Founded in 2011 by Dr. Paul Wheeler, Atlas is a family-run organisation and has grown to become the UK’s largest provider of secondary care ultrasound, as well as a trusted partner in radiology reporting across CT, MR, Plain Film, and DEXA and diagnostic radiographers including CT and MR.
This year, we’ve taken an exciting step forward by launching a regular education programme and we’re looking to expand and enhance this further into 2026.
To support this, we’re establishing an Educational Committee whose remit will include:
1. Study Days – Supporting the development of programme topics and helping to identify relevant speakers, not a requirement to deliver all talks but to assist with planning.
2. Educational Content – Collating educational cases, learning points, and other learning materials, ensuring quality and working with the market team to present them externally.
3. Training – helping with the creation of training programmes, for internal teams and Atlas staff as well as fostering relationships with training schemes, hospitals and universities.
While the committee will work across all teams, study days may focus on specific professional groups.
Members do not need to work with Atlas to apply, the post is open to anyone with sufficient experience in training and education;
We are initially seeking:
• Two Sonographers (or equivalent)
• Two Radiologists
• One Reporting Radiographer
• One Diagnostic Radiographer
The role is remote, with the option to attend face-to-face meetings and events. Members of the committee will be remunerated for their time at initially £500 per month.
If you are passionate about education and have relevant experience in training or teaching, we’d love to hear from you.
Please email terri.munro@atlasdiagnostics.co.uk with details of your experience in education and training by 9am, Friday 28th November.
