🦠🎓Make sure you’re protected against meningitis.

Meningitis can strike quickly and can be life-threatening. Young people starting university are at higher risk due to close contact in shared accommodation and social settings.

✅ The MenACWY vaccine is FREE for students – if you haven’t had it, contact your GP to get protected.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This month, we’re joining the nationwide campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

💗 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime — but spotting the signs early can make all the difference.

✅ Check your breasts regularly
✅ Know what’s normal for you
✅ Speak to your GP if you notice any changes — no matter how small

Changes to look out for include:
🔹 A lump or thickening in the breast or underarm
🔹 Changes in size, shape or feel
🔹 Skin changes (dimpling, redness, or puckering)
🔹 Ni**le discharge or inversion

You don’t need to wait — if something doesn’t feel right, book an appointment and get it checked.
