⏰ Don’t forget – the clocks go forward tonight!

At 1am Sunday morning, the clocks move forward to 2am, meaning we lose an hour but gain lighter evenings 🌅

This is a great time to check in on your sleep routine, make sure you’re getting enough rest, and take a moment to adjust any clocks at home.

Here’s to brighter evenings and the start of spring 🌼

We kindly ask all patients and visitors to treat our staff and fellow patients with respect and kindness. Our team is here to help and support you, often under very busy and challenging circumstances.

We understand that visiting the GP can sometimes be stressful or worrying, but we will not tolerate abusive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour towards our staff or others in the practice.

By working together with patience, understanding, and respect, we can create a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

Thank you for your cooperation 💙

⚠️ Important Information: Meningitis Vaccinations
We are currently receiving an increased number of enquiries following reports of a Meningitis B outbreak in Kent. We would like to provide some helpful information about available vaccinations and eligibility.
🦠 Meningitis B (MenB) Vaccine
The MenB vaccine was introduced into the UK childhood immunisation schedule in 2015.
Anyone born before 2015 will not have routinely received this vaccine.
Children who missed their MenB vaccinations can receive a catch-up dose up to the age of 2 years only.
Unfortunately, there is no NHS catch-up programme after age 2.
💉 Meningitis ACWY Vaccine (MenACWY)
This vaccine is routinely offered in secondary school (Years 9–11).
If missed at school, it can be given at the GP surgery from age 14 up to 25 years old.
If already received in school, no further booster is required for university.
🏥 Private MenB Vaccination
The MenB vaccine is not available on the NHS for older children or adults.
It can be accessed privately, with costs typically ranging from £115 to £260 per dose.
Patients will need to arrange this via a private pharmacy and source the vaccine themselves.
Need Advice?
If you are unsure about your vaccination status, please contact the practice and we will be happy to advise.
