Welcome to the world Oscar Hudson Fielding-Fox. My beautiful baby boy born on Thursday 30th March. To bring this bundle of joy into the world we had Pre implantation genetic diagnosis which is a type of IVF , this only selects embryos you have not passed on a genetic condition to, in my case the BRCA1 gene. This was all done down in London by the amazingly clever team at Guys Hospital. This means Oscar will not carry the BRCA gene and this stops with me, which is just amazing and we are eternally grateful for 🥹During my Caesarian section I also had a Bilateral Salpingectomy, this is a fairly new train of thought that ovarian cancer may start in the tubes, so removing those will hopefully reduce my ovarian cancer risk. It is great that there is so much research being carried out to reduce the risk of cancer. Orders will still be dispatched for Drain Dollies but may take an extra day or two longer whilst I navigate my way into motherhood ❤️

I get really shaky and dizzy after chemo so I use my bag to carry my phone and snacks and anything else I need to carry about when moving about as I drop everything … bag is so lightweight and I absolutely love it. I have been contacted by a casting agency wanting a lady who has had one breast removed, without reconstruction and is comfortable sharing their scar. They are looking for a woman in her 20s or 30s.

This is a new project for a well known international healthcare company.

It is a very well paid role and filming will take place early September in London, no acting experience needed.

Posted • This Breast Drain bag has been an absolute lifesaver, I would have really struggled without it following my breast surgery. I would recommend these for anyone that is having breast surgery and having a drain. They come in various patterns but I had to have the Manchester Bee 🐝 💖

Posted • Good morning from the newest member of The Flat and Fabulous Club.
Granted, I definitely don't look nor feel too fabulous this morning but some things take time right.... and mascara 😅

I am told that everything went as it should have! I haven't managed to sneak a look at my chest yet as I am bandaged right down my torso. So no peeking for me just yet. 👀

I spent an unplanned night in the Intensive Care Unit. Nothing major. They struggled to wake me up after surgery (I clearly needed a lie in), so they just wanted to keep a close eye on me, my pain management and heart rate. But I'm all good this morning and ready for coffee.
SO ready for coffffee. ☕

I have my trusty by my side again which have been an ABSOLUTE life saver through each op.
Matching them with my PJs was a pleasant accident btw, I'm not that organised at all.

I'm feeling sore, tired and a bit emotional but I am truly glad to be rid of those implants.

Your heartfelt messages and well wishes have kept me smiling throughout, I can't thank you enough.

Thank you for being there and supporting me each and every time.

And Happy Birthday to my big sis Sinead for yesterday and I'm sorry that your celebrations were hijacked by my bad bo***es. ❤️
