Never heard of osteopathy before? You’re not alone - lots of people haven’t. Osteopathy is a hands-on approach to healthcare that helps with aches, pains, stiffness and injuries. It looks at how your body is working as a whole, rather than just focusing on one sore area. People often come to see us for things like back pain, neck pain, shoulder tension, headaches, joint pain, sports injuries and general physical niggles that aren’t improving on their own. At The Village Osteopaths, we use a whole-body approach and tailor treatment to each person, helping you move more comfortably and feel more like yourself again. We pride ourselves on being a specialist clinic for the treatment of ME/CFS. A diagnosis of ME/CFS can often feel like a lonely one, particularly when understanding and treatment options can feel limited. We have a team of specialist osteopaths who are licensed Perrin Practitioners and work with patients with these complex conditions every day. We use The Perrin Technique, a specialist, scientifically backed osteopathic approach, alongside advice, support and a listening ear. It is always incredibly rewarding to see patients begin to regain parts of their lives, and we are always happy to offer advice or answer questions about this treatment.

The Perrin Technique is also used in the treatment of Fibromyalgia and Long Covid
