Reflecting on an incredible 2025, we proudly celebrated our 150th anniversary by giving back to our community each month through donations to local charities.

From supporting Bolton Hospice with a box at Bolton Football Club to engaging with the amazing staff at various charities, it has been a year of connection and compassion. We also made great progress with our renovation plans for the Radcliffe branch. We continued our commitment to the funeral industry as Paul served as second vice president at SAIF. We sponsored Radcliffe Football club training kits, and so much more.

Thank you for your unwavering support, here’s to another 150 years.

This month, as we close our 150 year charity donations, we are proud to support a local charity doing incredible work for children across Greater Manchester.

The Frost Foundation helps children who are disadvantaged by illness, disability, poverty or difficult circumstances. Their support includes specialist equipment such as wheelchairs and buggies, school uniforms, and essential items to help families through challenging times.

Their Christmas Appeal is now under way, providing gifts and festive support to local children who may otherwise go without. Even a small donation can help make Christmas a little brighter for a family in our community.

A vase of Phil’s beautiful home grown dahlias, picked today and displayed in our lounge as the floral season comes to an end and we move into winter. Phil has been part of our team for over 20 years and we’re sure you’ll all agree he keeps our gardens looking nothing short of incredible all year round 🌷🪏

This November we are proud to support Liv's Trust CIO a local charity to Bury and Radcliffe, as part of our 150 years of giving back to the community.

Created in memory of Olivia Campbell-Hardy, who was tragically killed in the Manchester Arena attack, the charity helps under 25s in Greater Manchester access education in music and dance, from instruments to dance shoes and much more.

They also run a wonderful pre loved shop right here in Radcliffe, helping to fund their incredible work.

As with all of our 150th anniversary donations, if we receive 150 new followers across our social channels this month, we’ll increase our donation from £150 to £500.
