Yet another amazing and dedicated client.

Came to me as a complete beginner on the weight floor and no confidence in using anything apart from the cardio section, with a wish to get leaner, stronger and more confident..
-
We were seeing each other only once per week for PT sessions, with remaining work/tracking done remotely/online.
-
Not that she got 100% confident rocking any section of the gym on her own. But she also got to pull some serious lifts with an amazing technique..
-
Positive body composition changes successfully followed (that was in the end an ultimate goal of ours)..πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

16weeks, -6kg, -13cm around a waist..πŸ”₯

You know you should move more and workout out of your comfort zone at least 3x week.. Ideally more..πŸ’ͺ🏻🦡🏼

You know you should quit spending so much time on your phone (guilty), watching TV and procrastinating with the things you know are the right for you to do..πŸ€”

But knowledge isn't enough..
There are so many factors outside of simple "knowledge" that affect your decisions..πŸ‘οΈ

And sometimes what you need more than another lesson is a swift motivational kick in your ar*e to get you going, once it gets you going motivation will gradually fade out..🧠

The only thing that could keep you going after is a dedication and commitment to you, yourself, your own mind, body and personal health (mental and physical..)πŸ™πŸ»

We all need a kick..

Everything we do in life today is like we are taking the loan for that will come on a future payment..

The better we are with decisions and the better investments we do the better outcomes we gonna get back in return..
-
The problem of instant gratification is very present and we are all chasing it consistently as it is hard to see with a delay.. weeks, months or years from now..
-
But whatever we seed today, we will reap sometimes in the future..
-
The harder we seed and the less we observe instant diversions the nicer yield we gonna be collecting down the line..
-
Take drugs..
Take alcohol..
Gamble..
Smoke..
Don't care about the health, gain weight, binge crap food, consume bad news, follow bad people, spend time more entertaining and less developing..
-
All this comes with instant enjoyments but will come around with a huge interest payment down in the future..
-
It's the same with the stuff we know would be the right to do..
-
Having some balance..
Enjoying the bad stuff (if we want to) in moderation with open consciousness..
-
While taking more care more about what deeply know is the right thing for us..
-
Less entertainment..
Grasping quality information..
Self-development..
Sport activity and general movement..
Surrounding with smart people..
Saving and investing...or whatever else..
-
All this usually won't come with the quick charge on our dopamine and instant feeling of pleasure but will give us a nice life down the line and "less interest on the loan and our life debt.."

The choice is always yours and yours only, no circumstance or environment should ever influence that!

People who have been following me over the years know that I had various phases in my journey over the last ~15years since I first stepped into the gym.
-
Varying between 60 and almost 100kg, doing crazy stuff with my body to better understand each phrase and circumstances my clients need to go through.πŸ™πŸ»
-
Wanted to be a living example that no matter the current shape, genetics or anything else, YOU CAN ALWAYS CHANGE (in any possible direction you can imagine).πŸ˜‰
-
Speaking of that, each of these phrases required different HABITS/approaches and.. well and a bit of proficiency and mastery.πŸ™‚
-
Always being genetically very skinny, for many years it was a nightmare to "eat enough" and more to grow.. The same (but opposite) might be for someone who is struggling to lose weight as it is not that easy to suddenly "eat less"..πŸ€”
-
For me gaining such weight took an enormous amount of effort and change in many habits.. the same amount of effort went into cutting down nearly 20kg in about 100days to be back in a "ripped" condition..
-
Well..
It wasn't easier or harder than it is for any of you.. I am no different!πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
-
My goals were always super clear and it has never been a question of "IF".
-
Habits and willpower to change in each phase were stronger than any excuses I might have had..
-
EXACTLY the stuff everyone needs to accomplish ANY worthwhile and sustainable goals!πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜‰

We, humans, tend to rely on external factors to manage all the things in life.. especially the things that we deeply know are the right ones and most often beyond the comfort zone.
-
If we rely on the environment, ultimately we will only start under what appears to be an "ideal circumstance.."
-
Start itself might be triggered and initially led by an extrinsic motivation that is normally driven by some outcome.. date, meeting, beach, summer holiday, ceremony, wedding, etc. (you name it).
-
Those types of motivation are great to kickstart but the weakest ones in the longer term, as after this type of goal and date are close everything else is falling into the water..
-
Same as being ready to start, those types of things could be a trigger but if we were looking for an ideal situation, every non β€œideal” on the way will get us off the track completely (I.e. stop with a diet because.. stop with training because..)
-
And from an β€œideal” situation in life, things rarely go to even more ideal, right?!?
-
What I'm trying to say..
Ditch your excused..
Pick yourself up..
Start with whatever you got now and power through the tough time, so you will sustain through the ups and downs and nothing will get you off the track..
-
You'll be way ahead even if you do it poorly at the beginning then you would be by waiting for an ideal time to start.. weeks, months or years from now.. in a meantime you might have already reached your goal and be in heaven..
-
Your resilience threshold, that way, will be well trained and higher for whatever it is to come in life!
-
Remember that a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor..
-
Practice being uncomfortable is the masterpiece of life!

After following me for a while he finally decided to pull a trigger and unleash his potential..πŸ“ˆ

Nearly two years of hard graft in between before and after photos (purely home basement gym training).πŸ“Š

To be more precise:
➑️ Initial cutting phase of 6months.
➑️ Followed by a bulking phase of 10months.
➑️ Followed by a second diet phase of 5months (shown on the right photos).

Anyone would like to try and guess the weight difference between before and after and where is he heavier?πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»
