Keystones Community Day Support Service for adults with a learning disability

Our Principals are:
• People with Learning Disabilities are at the centre of everything we do
PLEASE NOTE: we are able to offer support ONLY to ambulant adults who do not require a wheelchair and have independent personal care skills.
• We support people to be part of the local community and to be treated as equal to others
• We support people to have their say
• We work hard to ensure the service meets people’s needs
• We make sure that people with Learning Disabilities and their carers are fully involved with the planning and checking of our services
• We strive to employ a quality workforce

Always a relaxed & chilled morning to gently get our Keystones week up & running with our weekly Tuesday art & puzzles session at our Wythenshawe Cricket Club base, catching up on the weekend’s news & discussing plans for the coming week.
After lunch we all had the pleasure of wishing Jon a very happy birthday for tomorrow & everyone enjoyed the cup cakes he’d brought in to share 🧁😋🌟
A change to our usual Tuesday afternoon accessing inclusive sports with Better Things, due to the venue being affected by the power outage in Woodhouse Park, so we all decided a trip to the Forum Café & to visit the library 📚 was a great idea - so we had a more chilled out day than expected but definitely a good one all the same - well done everyone 😊 🌟

Friday’s are always a great day for our Keystones friends, starting off with a drink and meet up at The Forum Café before a fab morning Ten Pin Bowling at Atlantic Bowl in Altrincham- great team work everyone 🎳 🌟
Lunch, pool and socialising afterwards at The Carter’s Arms in Sale Moor where we wished a big Happy Birthday to James (for his birthday tomorrow) and to say thanks for the delicious muffins he shared with all his friends from Keystones and Out & About.
