🎈✨️We had an absolute blast playing Balloon Basketball yesterday! 🎈✨️ It was such a fun and lively game, and we loved seeing everyone get so into it. Some residents were seriously competitive, which made it even more exciting! The energy was fantastic, and it was a great way to spend the afternoon😊

We are so excited to celebrate all the furry (and not-so-furry!) friends who bring so much joy into our lives. From tiny critters to majestic beasts, every animal visitor deserves our love and appreciation. They truly make our days brighter and our home warmer. Today we have been discussing about Lent, our religions and beliefs. We talked about what would we sacrifice for Lent.
✨️ Pat said she would give up chocolate.
✨️Jean said she would give up biscuits.
✨️Marion said she is a religious lady, however she never sacrificed anything but went to church every Sunday.
✨️Tony said he would find it very hard to give something up for so long 😊

Our Story

Burrswood is made up of four separate houses, with each one offering a different level of care – Key House offers residential dementia care, Peel House is for nursing dementia care, Dunster House provides general nursing and Crompton House offers residential care.

We pride ourselves on the warm, friendly atmosphere you'll find when you come to Burrswood and we believe it's the perfect place to stay for either long or short-term care.

Situated in Walmersley near Bury, there's plenty of opportunity to get out and about locally, with trips into the town of Bury (with its famous market), the Royal Fusiliers museum and Burrs Country Park all being close to hand.
