If you have an ear infection, there is a simple way of making it better without any medication. Cut a small piece of white onion and stick it in your ear (not too deep, just the outta entrance). This will sterilise and clear out any poison from the ear. It also has many other positive effects on the body.

5 tips to have a healthy digestion system.

Many people suffer from bowl cancer and recent celebrity deaths have reminded us even more of it's existence. Firstly, for those who have lost their loved this way, my heart goes out to you. I for one have also lost a dear friend due to bowl cancer.

In an attempt to brighten things up and move forward, I would like to inform you of some simple lifestyle tips to nurture your digestion organs (intestine, stomach, spleen, etc) and help prevent bowl cancer.

1. Sit up straight - bad posture can easily lead to indigestion during a meal and disrupts the digestion after a meal.

2. Appreciate and be mindful towards the food you are eating - Everything you eat was once a form of life and a form of energy. Sacrificing one life to prolong another. It's a natural cycle which we should fully appreciate and respect. By doing so, it would not only help your body to accept the energy but would also increase your digestion of the food itself.

3. Chew your food - physical digestion procedure begins by gnawing the food in your mouth. Mixing well with saliva and breaking down the food will increase and help digestion, and is less taxing for the stomach and intestines. Especially when you eat foods such as rice or pasta (carbohydrates) it's saliva that digests the food and not stomach acid.

4. Eat only 70% of your capacity - this would help your digestion system to work its full potential without taxing them.

5. Try not to drink liquid during the meal. Instead, drink water 40mins before or after the meal.
