Hospital life. My bruise looks like I'm developing leopard print skin. 😂

Couldn't sleep, too hot here and so I decided to try a very natural no makeup, makeup look. I decided to try a new technique for my foundation (BB cream) to give it extra coverage and longevity, without going heavy with concealer.

I think it worked. But I will spend the day sweating on this plastic hospital mattress, tossing and turning to see how well it lasts. 😂

Also... My lip plumping lip gloss is winning over a very light coat of n**e lipstick. I just need a beach to lounge on now. 😂

The last photo of my natural hair colour, after my roots became my actual hair due to chronic illness, then lock down, then having covid, then long covid on top of my existing chronic health. 🙈😂

Still, I think the break from bleach and extensions gave my hair a much needed break! Look at how long it got!!

This was 3 weeks ago, but I forget to update Instagram often. 😂

Just a quick one eye look as I am exhausted after doing it, but could not wait to play with palette 8 any longer. 😍

Also wearing a lip butter, look at the pigment in that, considering how moisturising it is. 😍

What you don't see...

I'm in my nightie, as I'm boiling my nips off,

My hair needs washing,

I panicked midway through doing the eye makeup as there's that moment where you don't think it's going to look okay (you all have that too, don't you?),

My other eye looks like I've got pink eye in comparison to the 'done' eye (I might brave a comparison picture later, ha) and I did edit* my overgrown eyebrow so it wasn't quite so scary.

Barely one coat of mascara too as I realised I'd used my old one that was running out. 😂

Also I'm in front of a ring light, which makes for a good picture, and even smoother skin (although my skincare, primer and foundation helped me in amounts of f**k loads, ha).

*Always gotta be honest, as this definitely doesn't show how utterly knackered I feel, ha. The power of good makeup, skincare and lighting. 👌🏼😂
