Today we came together at our weekly community coffee morning for Remembrance Day.
Our art work was displayed that our lovely residents had made for the occasion.
We played the last post before joining the country in a 2 minute silence.

Our resident Ray proudly stood to deliver his version of in Flanders Field, a poem he knows word for word after being a proud member of the salvation Army for over 30 years 🌺

Today on Remembrance Sunday we spend time remembering the fallen, those who fought for us and our country.

Some of our residents watched the parade in Mansfield, while others watched parades on the TV.

We enjoyed a trip out to Warsop to see their display of remembrance, our residents were taken back by the beautiful display 🌺

Wednesday we were joined by the Methodist Church Chesterfield Road, who provides us with a Remembrance day service.

Thank you, this was a beautiful service that our residents enjoyed.

🌟 Well done to both Kenny and Emma for being our stars of October 🌟

🌟 Our care assistant Kenny has received our Management recognition for October Kenny is always engaging our residents in activity full of life and full of smiles as well as inducting our new staff members. Kenny always has a big smile and includes everyone 🌟

🌟 Our domestic Emma has received our dignity champion of the month, Emma does not stop in her role taking pride in the building and ensuring our residents personal spaces are to their liking. Emma goes above and beyond every single day 🌟

🌟💛 Staff appreciation time 💛🌟

Staff enjoy some sweet treats together as we show our appreciation to our team for all their hard work day in and day out.
Working in a care home is very demanding our staff team work with love and passion for our residents and each other.
