Tomorrow is our favourite day of the year 🙌🏀

It’s the EMET Wheelchair Basketball Tournament – the moment where all the students who have taken part in 6 weeks of wheelchair basketball come together to represent their schools and compete.

We can’t wait to be part of the day and celebrate everything they’ve achieved. From first sessions to game day, the progress, confidence, and teamwork on show has been incredible.

This event is all about:

💙 Supporting each other
💙 Celebrating every individual

We’ve had an amazing four days at Pleasley Landmarks as part of our HAF provision, working in partnership with StreetGames and It’s About Me Derbyshire 🙌

From sports and inclusive wheelchair activities to Nerf fun, laser tag, arts and crafts – it’s been non-stop action!

The young people have also been learning about healthy eating, getting hands-on with pizza making (plus a few Easter treats along the way 🐣🍕).

And we’re finishing on a high today with an Easter Egg hunt!

It’s been an incredible week – thank you to everyone involved 💙

What an incredible start to our Holiday Activities & Food programme with ECS and Nottinghamshire County Council! 🙌

Today was packed with excitement, including:

🏀 Mansfield Giants ECS Schools Basketball League – Final Week! 🎉

It’s the final week and all teams are in action! What an amazing four weeks of basketball fun it’s been. 🌟

🐰 CHECK OUT OUR PE EASTER EGG HUNT 🐥

Hopping into Easter the active way! 🐇💨

Our PE Easter Egg Hunt had everyone moving, thinking, and working together—building fitness while having lots of fun!

Children ran, searched, and collected as many eggs as they could, using teamwork and problem-solving to follow clues and find the hidden eggs. 🥚

They communicated, spread out, and supported each other to complete the challenge—developing key PE skills along the way.

This is what ECS PE is all about! 😊
