👻🎃 Berry Hill Care Home’s Spooktacular Halloween Party! 🎃👻

This afternoon, our ghoulishly great Activities Coordinators, Bri and Claire, conjured up a fang-tastic Halloween bash for our residents and their families! 🕷🧙‍♀🕸

It took a little while for everyone to creep onto the dance floor 🧛‍♀💃— but once the spooky tunes started, the monsters were mashing in no time! 🧟‍♂🎶

Our costume contest winners were absolutely boo-tiful! 👑
🕸 1st Place – The adorable grandchildren of one of our residents 👻🎃 (joint winners!)
🕷 2nd Place – Our fabulous carer Tracy 🧛‍♀
🕯 3rd Place – The spelltacular Dawn, another of our wonderful carers! 🧙‍♀✨

Not only did our little winners look amazing, but they also took to the mic and entertained us all with their beautiful singing and some frightfully fun dancing! 🎤🎶🩰 Everyone loved it! 💕

And let’s not forget the fiendishly delicious feast! 🍰🧁🍬
Our amazing cook Claire and her brilliant kitchen assistant Ciaran brewed up an absolutely wicked buffet spread! 🧡🖤 10/10 teamwork — we’re sure even Dracula would’ve gone back for seconds! 🦇🍽

It was a hauntingly heartwarming day full of laughter, treats, and spooky fun — every costume was simply fang-tastic! 🖤🎃👻

🎃 Spooktacular Creations at Berry Hill! 👻

Yesterday, our boo-tiful activity coordinator Claire had the residents conjuring up some fang-tastic Halloween door wreaths 🧡✨ Each one is bursting with pumpkin sparkle and ghoulish grins, ready to hang proudly on bedroom doors for our in-house trick-or-treating party tomorrow! 🕸️🍬

It was a frightfully fun afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of Halloween spirit! 🕷️💀

🍂 A Hauntingly Good Day of Food, Family & Fun! 🍂

What an enchanting day it’s been here at Berry Hill Care Home! 💕

Our fabulous activities team, Bri & Sophie, treated our lovely ladies — and their wonderful sons and daughters — to a cosy lunch outing at The Oak Tree Pub 🍽✨. Everyone tucked into delicious classics like fish & chips 🐟🍟, sausage & mash 🥔, and hearty steak pie 🥧, all finished off with indulgent brownies 🍫 and comforting apple pie with custard 🍎🍮. And of course, there were a few cheeky tipples to toast good company 🍷🍺 — cheers to that! 🥂

Back home, things took a spooktacular turn as we got into the Halloween spirit! 🎃👻 Upstairs was filled with laughter as residents donned witch hats, sparkly bat wings, and devil horns 🧙‍♀🦇😈. There were plenty of giggles as we decorated for Halloween — cobwebs, pumpkins, and a few mischievous spiders crept their way into our cosy corners 🕸🕷. The home is now glowing with autumn warmth and a hint of spooky magic! 🍁✨

It’s safe to say our Berry Hill family had a frightfully good time today — full of love, laughter, and a touch of Halloween mischief! ❤🕷🎃

🎃👻 Halloween Movie Magic at Berry Hill! 👻🎃

Our activity coordinator Bri has transformed our lounge into a cosy little cinema today — complete with eerie decorations, twinkling lights, and comfy seats for everyone! 🕯️🕸️🦇

This afternoon’s film is the chilling Sweeney Todd 🩸✂️ — the perfect choice to get our residents into the Halloween spirit! 👀💀🖤

It’s a full house for our frightfully fun movie day — blankets are out, the lights are low, and the spooky vibes are in full swing! 👻🎬

🕷🎃 Halloween Horrors at Berry Hill Care Home! 🎃🕷

This morning, the magic began as our residents embraced their inner witches and wizards! 🧙‍♂🧙‍♀ Pointy hats were donned, spells were cast (mostly for extra cups of tea ☕✨), and laughter filled the halls. And between us… the hats really did suit them! 😄

After breakfast, our enchanting activity coordinator Bri waved her wand (or maybe just a roll of tape 🪄😆) and began transforming Berry Hill into a Halloween haven straight out of Hogwarts! 🏰

Outside, she spun a giant spiderweb masterpiece across the lawn — complete with a spooky spider now affectionately known as “Aragog”, named after Hagrid’s eight-legged pet from Harry Potter! 🕸🐾

But the magic didn’t stop there… Inside, Bri continued her decorating spell — suspending floating witches’ hats from the ceiling and conjuring up another enormous web that would make even Professor Snape proud! 🧹🪄

The dining room now looks wickedly wonderful — with colorful balloons, cobwebs galore, and just the right touch of spooky charm! 🕯👻

And believe it or not… she’s still not finished! We can’t wait to see what other tricks (or treats!) she has up her sleeve! 🍬🎩

🕷️🎃 Spine-tingling Fun at Berry Hill Care Home! 🎃🕷️

This afternoon, our fabulous Activity Coordinator, Sophie, hosted a Halloween biscuit-decorating afternoon — and what a spooktastic time everyone had! 👻

Residents, staff, and family members rolled up their sleeves and got creative with icing, sprinkles, and plenty of laughter. From cute little ghosts to mischievous monsters, each biscuit looked boo-tifully unique! 🍪✨

There was no shortage of smiles — but we all agreed that Leah’s biscuit was the most terrifying of them all! 😱😂

It was a wonderful afternoon of creativity, chatter, and a few spooky giggles — the perfect way to celebrate the season together. 💀🧡

A big thank you to Sophie for another frightfully fun afternoon at Berry Hill! 🌟

This month, we’re welcoming winter with warmth, laughter, and plenty of special moments at Berry Hill Care Home! 💜

From Bonfire Night sparkles and Remembrance tributes to festive family photo days and trips to Mansfield and Rufford Abbey, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 🎆🎖🛍

We’ll also be crafting, singing, reminiscing, and celebrating St Andrew’s Day and King Charles’ Birthday — keeping spirits bright as the nights grow cozy. 🕯🎶
