✨ Weekend dieting ✨
We do all the right things during the week but when the weekend comes, we can easily go off track if we are not careful. We don't realise how easily a weekend of mindless drinking and overeating can destroy our weight loss progress.
Here are some useful tips to stay on track this weekend:-
1. Stick to your products - be prepared by always having your products with you when out and about to avoid eating poorly if you are hungry. Make sure you have all of your daily products too - it’s essential to ensure you get all the nutrients you need and to help achieve your desired weight loss.
2. Keep hydrated - drink plenty of water 💦 remember, you should be having at least 2.25 litres! Always carry your water bottle around with you and it’s always handy to have some refreshing water flavourings! 🍉🍊🥒🍋🍍
3. Keep up your steps - keep moving and make sure you get some exercise in when you can. This doesn’t have to mean visiting the gym - take the dog for a walk; take the stairs instead of the lift; go for a swim etc. 🏃♀️🏊♀️ 🐕
4. Fit your plans around the plan - people tend to eat out more at the weekends but going to a restaurant isn’t an excuse to eat unhealthy foods. With most restaurants these days, you can go online and look at their menus. See what dishes look healthy and decide before you go what you'll order, and stick to your decision once you get there. Don’t be afraid of asking them how things are cooked or asking to swap your fries for a house salad. 🍴
5. 1:1 support - let me know if you are struggling as I am here to support you! We can talk things through together! ❤️
So have fun this weekend but make sure you don’t undo the hard work that you put in during the week.
And if you have already slipped up or overeaten, don’t punish yourself.
Instead, focus on getting back on track immediately - within a few days, you should be right back on track!
Enjoy your weekend! 💕
