Resident Marian absolutely loves the beautiful way our housekeeping team present the towels here at Merceode Lodge. ✨

Our wonderful Head Housekeeper, Steph, kindly took the time to give Marion her very own 1:1 towel origami workshop! 🦢

Thank you, Steph, for going the extra mile and creating such a special moment. Marian enjoyed it so much, she has now purchased a book so she can continue learning even more towel origami designs! 💚

Our residents recently asked for more doggy visits… so we made it happen! 🐾

We were delighted to welcome back Jane and her beautiful therapy dogs, Umba & Iris, for an afternoon fof cuddles, smiles and special moments.✨

The joy these visits bring is truly heart-warming. From gentle strokes to happy chats, it’s clear just how much animal interaction supports wellbeing and connection for our residents.

We can’t wait to welcome them back again soon! 💜

She’s becoming quite the local celebrity… and even more so here at Merceode Lodge, where she has recently started her very own “Knit & Knatter” group.🧶💬

Bringing Marian's friends & our residents together through creativity, conversation and connection, the group is already proving to be a huge hit.

Today at Merceode Lodge we had the privilege of hosting a Wake in loving memory of one of our dearly missed former residents.

It was a special and emotional day, and we were honoured to welcome family and friends as they came together to remember and celebrate a life so fondly cherished. 💐

A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible team for their compassion, care, and unwavering support throughout the day. Their kindness, attention to detail, and quiet professionalism made a real difference and helped create a comforting and respectful atmosphere for everyone who attended.

We are so proud of how the Merceode Lodge team came together, without them, the day simply wouldn’t have been as meaningful or special.

Our thoughts remain with the family and loved ones during this time. 💛

What a fantastic week of activities and resident ‘firsts’ here at Merceode Lodge last week!✨

Our residents were absolutely thrilled with the visit from Petlake Alpacas of the New Forest🦙💛 Such a wonderful, heart warming experience that brought so many smiles, laughter, and special moments.

Encounters like these are so much more than just a visit… they spark joy, encourage connection, and create lasting memories for everyone involved. We can’t wait to welcome them back again soon! ✨

'Wellness Wednesdays’ in our Wellbeing Room this morning was a beautiful combination of gentle movement, laughter & soothing sound healing instruments. ✨💜

A truly calming and uplifting session that supported both body and mind, leaving everyone feeling relaxed and rebalanced. 🌿

Our residents enjoyed their weekly pamper session at our on-site hairdressers yesterday. 💇‍♀️✨

Afterwards, Gill & Marie headed out on a lovely girls’ trip to Dobbie's Garden Centre 🌸🌿 to choose their favourite plants, which will soon be planted in the Merceode Lodge gardens!

A huge thank you to Leanne for accompanying them and making the day so special. 💜

Moments like these are what it’s all about… connection, choice, and creating a home filled with joy. 🌼

We were so pleased to welcome the children from Twiggs Lane Preschool back to Merceode Lodge yesterday.😊

Our residents had really missed their weekly visits over the Easter holidays and were delighted to join in with the games, drawing and inter-generational fun!! 💜
