Wow, what a fantastic day at our Easter Extravaganza! £416 raised in total. 🐣✨

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a wonderful success. It was incredible to see so many smiling faces enjoying the activities, music, and community spirit.

Special thanks, as always, to the amazing Merceode Lodge team, who continually go above and beyond to deliver events of the highest standard. 💜

Our General Manager, Helen, said “I am so proud, especially of Head Chef Neil and his team, who achieved a 5-star Food Hygiene rating earlier in the morning. The home is going from strength to strength, and I genuinely could not be prouder.

A very special mention to Jemma, one of our valued housekeepers, who single-handedly decorated the home, in preparation for our guests. Your thoughtfulness, creativity and dedication truly reflect the heart of Merceode Lodge. It did not go unnoticed and made the day even more special. Thank you, Jemma! ”

Jo, Caroline, Sky, Sarah, Amy & Kay you made sure everyone feel welcome and ensured the day ran smoothly, you are all superstars!! 🌟✨

Thank you all from Twiggs Lane Preschool for attending, plus our nominated charity Waterside Club, including Joan who donated 3 delicious homemade cakes for our Cake Sale. It was also a pleasure to welcome future resident Marian, who looked fab in her Easter Bonnett!!

Raising funds for local charities is incredibly important to us at Crystal Care, and strengthening our connections within the local community remains at the heart of everything we do.

This wonderful event is a fundraiser for Twiggs Lane Preschool, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for a fun-filled day for all ages.

Our lovely ladies spent time baking and decorating delicious cakes, filling the home with the most wonderful smells and even better smiles 😊🍰

We were also delighted to welcome back the children from Twiggs Lane Pre School. The laughter, chatter and shared moments between generations truly make days like this so special.

What a beautiful sunny day it was yesterday and it looks like today is going to be even better ☀️ Days like these are perfect for getting out into the community, connecting with others, and sharing the incredible stories that make our day so meaningful.

It’s always a privilege to spend time with our residents at Merceode Lodge and hear about the positive experiences they’ve had, moments of joy, friendship, and support that truly make this place feel like home. 💛

We’d also love to invite our wonderful community to come together for a very special cause. On 16th May 2026, we’ll be taking part in the Great Walk in support of Oakhaven Hospice, a charity that provides such vital care and compassion to those who need it most.
