We saw some interesting use cases - not just meditation. One user reported it 'saved their life' on a particularly bad day, where they just needed a quiet space to themselves to listen to a podcast.

We all have different wellbeing needs, but having a quiet, private space, just for a few moments, benefits almost all of us.

The Big Sit London is coming!

Join us on World Mindfulness Day, 12th Sep, 11am @ the Meditatio Centre, Angel

Yinshi is very proud to be supporting The Big Sit, a simple but powerful idea that started in Singapore and has now made its away to the UK.

The core aim of the Big Sit is to make better, more mindful use of public spaces that are perfect for activities such as meditation, helping to foster better mental and social health in the process.

The Big Sit London will take place at the same time as the Singapore event, building a great sense of global connection for the project.

The venue will be the beautiful Meditatio Centre and it's surrounding gardens, in the heart of the city, in Angel.

The event will feature a guided meditation and mindful walk, and will aim to leave you feeling refreshed and balanced to enjoy World Mindfulness Day to the fullest.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite (link in bio).

Look forward to seeing you sitting there!

🧘🙏🙂✨

For our upcoming Future of Workplace Wellbeing webinar, panelist .aspiotis.morley took the time to answer some quickfire questions, giving us a nice flavour of what to expect from him on the day.

Snippet from the Q&A below, and link the full blog post and webinar sign up details in bio (it's free to sign up).

Super excited to hear more on this:

"For me, biophilic design combines elements of sustainability and wellbeing via its nature-first approach to materials, colours, sounds, textures and scent. It’s not just landscaping or putting plants on desks, as some might think, the deeper you go into the principles behind this design philosophy the more it gives back and the greater the impact can be. Recently I’ve been geeking out on innovative bio-materials from fruit skins and algae for example!

So why is this important? We’re looking to boost productivity and concentration while reducing anxiety and stress amongst employees and, just as importantly, respecting the environment in the process. It’s a lot to think about, I recognise that but it is absolutely within reach for most offices."

Good morning.

Nice to see the the UK waking up again.

It would be even nicer if we could take everything we've learnt from lockdown (slowing down can be good for you, how precious our close friends and family are, how much kids can benefit from more time with their parents, how the environment responds if we give it a break, and so on) and carry that through to our daily lives and the 'new normal'.

That would be a real .

That's the kind of level of conscious thought that meditation can grow within you.

That's why we're so passionate about helping more people discover meditation.

It's good for the world, not just your experience of it.

Put sound on for a calm start to your day.

Little interventions and nudges throughout the day can be invaluable to help bring us back to the present, to give us a sense of calm and enable us to go about what we're doing without building up dangerous stress levels.

Why not set a couple of reminders each day to remind yourself to meditate, or even just focus on your breath for 30secs.

Your mind and body will thank you.
