I’ve finally done it 🙌 After 25 years working in my career job, I’ve decided to quit and focus all my energies on CloudZen ☁️

Since 2020 I’ve been running hard in both roles, travelling back and forth to London wearing my Creative Director hat in the day job and then filling every other hour I’ve got, and more, trying build a small business by the sea.

It’s genuinely been brilliant, but slightly bonkers at the same time 🤪

And I’ve not been able to properly appreciate Margate being my full time home. Until now ❤️

There’s lots I’ll miss about my previous job but the calling to slow down, generally feel less exhausted and pour all my love into CloudZen has been growing louder and louder. 

Lots of ideas and plans that have been whirling around in my head that I can now give the attention they deserve too and I can’t wait to share. .

First up is the new Winter Offering at Zen Studio featuring a more diverse mix of classes, workshops and events to suit the whole community. All led by the loveliest of Margate locals.

🌟 SPRING CLOTHES SWAP AT CLOUDZEN STUDIO🌟

We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Clothes Swap event at CloudZen to help support https://www.mama-to-mama.co.uk/, a local charity dedicated to providing essential pre-loved items to vulnerable pregnant women, caregivers and children under 5, who are living in poverty. Mama to Mama is a charity committed to improving the lives of babies and children to give them the best start in life.

How the swap works:

6:30pm - 7pm
Arrive with up to 10 items of clothing, accessories or footwear you want to swap. We accept all genders and shapes and sizes, from high street to high end as long as they’re clean and in good condition. As well as kids clothes.
Each item is given a token to exchange for sometning on the rails.

7pm - 8:30pm
Time to start swapping!
We have spaces with mirrors where you can try clothes on.

All we ask for is a charitable donation. Minimum donation is £5 or pay what you can on the door. Tickets available here:

So come along and swap your pre-loved clothes for someone else's treasures and make a difference in the community.
