💫 A New Chapter for Our Amazing Community 💫
When I started From Flab to Fab Netball, I’ll be honest — it was a bit of a whim. I’d just been on my own weight-loss journey, feeling better in myself than I had in years, and I wanted to help other people feel that same spark again.
The name From Flab to Fab was something I created with a bit of help from AI — catchy, bold, a little cheeky. It made people talk. Some loved it, some didn’t. But at the time, it felt right.
Fast forward 16 months, and what we’ve built together has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined. We’ve become a true community — one built on friendship, belonging, confidence, fun, and empowerment. We’ve celebrated milestones, smashed goals, shared tears, laughs and victories together. What we have is genuinely special.
And with that growth has come reflection. I’ve listened to all the feedback — the good, the bad, and the Marmite. For a long time, I believed the positives outweighed the negatives… but as we continue to evolve, I’ve realised that our mission deserves to be as inclusive and accessible as possible.
If even one person feels hesitant to join this incredible community because of a name, then it’s time for me to be humble enough to adapt.
So… we’re stepping into a brand new era. Our identity, values and purpose remain exactly the same — but our name and logo are getting a well-deserved glow-up. ✨
And that brings me to our new name:

Glow is all about that light that lives inside you — the confidence, the courage, the warmth, the spark that sometimes gets dimmed by life, but never truly goes out.
Here, we don’t just lose weight or get fitter. We rediscover our glow.
We bring together women of every age, size, background, fitness level, confidence level and life experience — and when we step onto that court, something magical happens. We don’t just play netball. We:
Shine in our own way
Light each other up
Reflect back the strength we sometimes forget we have
Together, we become brighter than we ever could alone. That is Glow in its purest form. ✨
In our league:
Fitness blends with fun
Sport blends with support
Struggle blends with strength
Individual journeys blend into a shared, unstoppable sisterhood
Every cheer, every hug, every milestone, every “you’ve got this” — all these moments weave together to form the heart of this community. It only works because we come together.
💛 Choosing Glow isn’t just a name change. It’s a statement.
It’s a celebration of:
Your inner light
Your power
Your right to take up space, on and off the court
Over the next month or two, you’ll start to see our new look appearing across everything we do. And yes… that also means new merch, new branding, new signage, and some exciting surprises along the way! 🎉
So as Santa gets ready for Christmas, he’s bringing us something special too — a brand-new identity that represents everything we’ve built together and everything still to come.
