Are you an experienced and motivated Theatre Scrub Nurse or Senior Theatre Scrub Nurse ready to take the next step in your career?

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Theatre Scrub Nurse and Senior Theatre Scrub Nurse to provide specialist care within our busy operating theatres.

The post holders will perform and assist in all aspects of surgical procedures to an expert level in line with personal competencies. The post holders will work with the surgical team in delivering and maintaining a high standard of surgical care before, during and after surgery.

We undertake a multiplicity of surgical procedures which include – but are not limited to – general surgery, Orthopaedic, gynaecology, urology, ENT and colorectal patients.

The Theatre Scrub Nurse and Senior Theatre Scrub Nurse are clinically responsible to the Theatre Sister, working under direction and supervision as members of the surgical team.

Our Story

‘Spencer Private Hospitals’ are three hospitals situated in South East Kent, the largest of which is a 22 bed independent hospital situated in Margate. which has been open since October 1998. The second hospital comprises of a consulting suite in Ashford which opened in March 2016. Both hospitals have a reputation for providing excellent medical and surgical facilities supported by Specialist Consultants, Specialist Nurses and Physiotherapists. We have state of the art diagnostic equipment and exceptionally high standards of nursing care. We have recently expanded, opening a new location in Canterbury at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital. We are proud to be owned by EKHUFT, with all our locations based within the grounds of EKHUFT hospitals and all profits being invested back into the NHS.
