Post operative squeeze into this little number for evening clinic and feel so happy to welcome my clients back after a considerable break for some!

We rest. We carry on.

I know I bang on and on about the benefits of Bowen and calming the nervous system, bodies, emotions and health generally. It’s because I believe in this treatment with every fibre of my being.

I see miraculous changes occur in my clients. On and off the bench. When the nervous system settles we find we are free to move on from outdated patterns and unhelpful beliefs and habits. We are able to regain confidence in strength and balance, both physical and emotional, finding the courage to make changes and look forwards.

Do you need a shake up? Are you stuck? Are you exhausted? Are you dragging your way through life and can’t remember the last time you felt joy?

Finally a front room with floor, skirting boards and most front room things!! Blanket progress also this has been keeping me out of mischief while the work has been going on. Starry on and off duty love her heart she’s so happy to be in her own bed back to almost normal.

Clients I’m READY AT LAST!! Still no kitchen… but it’s arriving on Friday.

Thank you for your patience. This has taken longer than anticipated. All the workmen THANK YOU and I’ll fix all your bodies when you need me too 😍😍😍😍

Ok. Here is the update of Community Bowen HQ. Extremely exciting times here, as I’m off anyway to recover from surgery we are doing this. Ta Dahhhhhhh🤩🤩☺️😬😆

Somewhat not quite ready for work yet. My massive apologies to folks booked and delayed this week. I cannot rush any of the incredible people who are being our home back to life.

I will be looking at booking everyone next week-you can see we are almost there. Ish.

Massive shout out to the floor specialist Phil Morris who has been an absolute star throughout this project. Interruptions from dogs, from us, nowhere near enough coffee provided (zero kitchen) but the best person ever for this task. THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️

As demonstrated by my series of wonky walks. Bowen resets things you didn’t know were wrong.

Beautiful. Gentle. Incredible. If it didn’t make such a difference I wouldn’t make such a big deal over it. You can feel SO MUCH better after just one session! People leave feeling looser, lighter, freer. They sleep better, digest better, move better.

Let’s get you back to doing everything you need to be doing.

When posture and the nervous system don’t see eye to eye

When the body is out of alignment — maybe one shoulder sits higher, or there’s a slight shift through the spine — it’s not just a structural issue. This unevenness can affect how the brain and body communicate.

Uneven posture can send mixed messages through the nervous system, influencing balance, coordination, and even emotional regulation. For some people, especially those with retained primitive reflexes, this imbalance can keep old movement patterns “switched on.”

Reflexes such as the ATNR, STNR, TLR, and Spinal Galant are designed to help us develop in infancy — but if they’re not fully integrated, they can contribute to muscle tension, altered spinal curves, or inefficient movement patterns later in life.

Bowen Therapy offers a gentle way to bring attention to postural and nervous system patterns, inviting the body to explore greater ease and balance as best it can.

Fabulous week. Clients feeling better after just one session. It really is astounding how settling the nervous system settles everything.

Still beauty everywhere we look in nature and so happy to announce the Robin seems to be a daily visitor after a tentative start. Wood pigeons finally left the nest so a good tidy outside is coming. Time to put the garden to bed.

My latest crotchet reflects the colours of autumn and the change in season. Feeling nostalgic for summer but looking forward to the woodburner therapies. Snuggling in to the dark and the warmth. It’s just lovely.

I’m here. Your pain is my business. I’ll do my absolute best to make you comfortable in your own skin. Pain free, fabulous and relaxed.

She’s back. Panic not darling friends family and clients. The mending is done as long as I take it steady. No lifting. No driving. I can work yippppppeeeeee!!!

I’m able to see clients and I’m so very happy today is my first day back.

On the bench this week:
🥰Collapsed discs. Painful spine. Numb legs
😘Dodgy shoulder
😍Migraine
☺️Newborn keeps on crying/reflux
🤩Sciatic pain
