Are you struggling with the weight of past trauma or current challenges, and looking for a way forward? We’re here to guide you on a path of healing and transformation, with the support of our horses in a safe, nurturing environment. I offer Equine Facilitated Integrative Trauma-Informed Services for individuals who have experienced trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, abuse, bereavement, anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. Through a combination of talk-based and somatic (body-based) experiences, our sessions provide a holistic approach to healing. Horses are your co-facilitators. Traumatic experiences are often difficult to talk about, especially when they involve other people. Horses, with their gentle and non-judgmental nature, act as natural catalysts for healing. In their company, you can feel safe to explore what happened, what’s happening now, and what lies ahead—without fear of judgment. Whether your experiences are from the past or present, we will work at your own pace, always in a confidential and supportive space. We also offer Equine Facilitated Learning sessions for both adults and children, designed to affirm neurodivergent needs and support personal growth. These sessions are focused on building skills for life—whether it’s improving social relationships, gaining confidence, setting boundaries, or problem-solving. You’ll have the chance to explore your current challenges and move toward a brighter future, all while engaging with horses in a fun, interactive way. No prior equine experience is required. Whether on the ground or riding*, these sessions offer a hands-on, experiential way to learn and grow. Take the first step toward healing and personal growth today. A beautiful start to Saturday.
How's your morning feeling today?

05/12/2025

This morning arrived in full colour — a sky you can feel, cold air that wakes you up, and Pheasant greeting the day with that genuine curiosity horses do so well.

What tone would you choose for your Friday — calm, steady, or a blend of both?

It’s one of those Thursdays where the weather clocked in before any of us did.

Rain from the early morning that carried on thoughour the whole day. And the Herd’s reaction? A calm and natural “Yes, and?” as they carried on with their day.

Horses really don’t make a fuss about days like this.
They shift, adjust, move around, look for the best bite… and just get on with being horses.

Meanwhile, the humans — trying not to soak their socks, wrestling with hoods, and questioning their life choices, thinking of the summer days left behind.

So here’s your Thursday reminder:

Some days are ‘just do what you can, stay warm, and keep it simple’ days — and that’s completely enough.

What kind of day is it for you?

Wednesday already, and the Herd is following their usual winter routine — grazing, resting, and watching the world in that steady, attuned way they do.

One thing I always notice is how horses regulate themselves through the smallest movements: shifting their weight, softening their eye, taking a breath, walking a few steps, meeting another herd member for a moment of connection, then settling again. Nothing big or flashy — just adjusting.

It’s a good Wednesday reminder for the rest of us too: we don’t always need big changes to feel more balanced… sometimes it’s the small shifts that make the biggest difference.

02/12/2025

Early mornings, cold air, the Herd’s breath hanging in the winter light… there’s something calming about simply being out in it.

Sometimes that’s all winter asks of us — to slow down for a moment and notice what’s right in front of us.

What kind of moment helps you regain your balance or take a breather for yourself?

Monday has arrived, and with it a new week and new plans.
What are your plans for this week?

After a night spent in, our Herd have already settled back into their usual turnout routine— eating, wandering, doing their own usual checks on the world.

I’m finding myself doing much the same: eating, getting on with the day’s jobs… and while I’m not exactly checking the world out, I do enjoy stopping for a moment to watch them and notice what they’re up to.

As I’m getting ready to film the next round of winter recordings, I’d love to know:

What would you find most helpful or interesting to see this week?
Something calm?
Something practical?
A day-to-day check-in?
Behind-the-scenes bits you don’t normally see?

Let me know — it helps to guide what I film, and I like knowing what you’re curious about.

This week’s weather has been a bit of everything, and it feels like a lot of people I’m speaking to are in that ‘full on, but still going’ place too.

So before the new week starts, I wanted to bring all the winter offers into one place in case you’ve been meaning to ask and just haven’t got round to it yet:

• Buy One Session, Get One Free – use both yourself, or gift one to someone who could really do with an hour to themselves with our Herd.

• Winter Gift Vouchers – for people who don’t need more ‘stuff’, but would genuinely appreciate some space, time outside, and a calm, supported session.

• 3 Emergency Sessions – set aside for those who are really up against it right now and need a bit of breathing room. (You can nominate someone, or yourself.)

If any of the above speaks to you, or you’d like more info, just send me a message.

It seems like it rained all night.

The fields are completely drenched — as you’d expect — though the horses don’t seem to mind at all. Having been in their stables overnight, they all looked dry, cosy, and very unbothered this morning.

Horses are incredibly adaptive — whatever the weather throws at them, they just adjust and get on with it. Watching them this morning made me think about how we handle change too.

How do you find adapting to new situations or sudden shifts?

Does it feel overwhelming, stressful… or do you see it as something new to figure out?

Let me know — I can weave some of your thoughts into next week’s recordings.

When I saw the horses first thing this morning, I was greeted by four sets of eyes longingly waiting… to be honest, not for me. It was for their breakfast.

Vinnie’s got a bit of a cough at the moment — nothing scary, just one of those ‘keep an eye on him’ thing.

We turned them out after breakfast, and in true Vinnie fashion, he still launched himself at the ‘greener on the other side’ patch of grass as if I wasn’t standing right there. It made me smile, though — it’s funny how every horse (and every person) has their familiar habits they fall back on.

And it made me think how we all fall back on familiar habits when life starts to feel full on.

So, being inspired by the moment, I'm taking that thought into the next week.

If there’s anything you’d like included, just let me know.

Today it doesn’t look like the season knows what it wants to be — it’s gone from -3°C to already being +10.

I came out dressed for the Arctic and then spent more time taking my layers off than I did with the Herd.

And it got me thinking about how up-and-down this time of year can feel for people too… especially if life has been full of challenges, too busy, or just a bit much lately.

So, for this winter, I’m gifting 3 Emergency Sessions — steady, grounding time with the Herd for someone who really needs a moment for themselves.

A place to take time out, talk things through if you want to, feel supported, and just have an hour that isn’t pulling you in ten different directions.

Nothing intense. Nothing overwhelming. Just a small offer in a season that doesn’t seem to know what it’s doing either.

And a little nudge — if there’s anything you’d like me to include in the next round of behind-the-scenes recordings — turnout, routines, feeding, rugs, veterinary care — let me know. I’m working on it now.

Midweek already, and our Herd have fully committed to the winter — thicker coats, waiting by the gates at an earlier time than usual, perhaps a more persistent ask to eat some more lush grass during the turn out time (I'm not naming anyone, Vinnie...).

I'm not fighting, I'm kindly asking to come with.

I had a question yesterday, a question about gifting sessions, so I’ve opened up some winter gift vouchers for anyone who’d like to give something a bit more meaningful this year.

Nothing fancy — just a calm hour with the Herd, some grounding, and a chance to breathe.

Perfect for someone who doesn’t need more ‘stuff, but maybe someone who's feeling a bit stretched or overwhelmed lately and could do with some space.

As I plan the next set of behind-the-scenes videos, I’m still taking requests too — routines, turnout, feeding, welfare bits… let me know what you’d find helpful or interesting.

Today feelt like that first proper step into the weather-reinforced season.

The Herd have fully shifted into their winter rhythm now, and I’m doing the same — slowly catching up with them.

What about you?

What are your plans for the rest of today, the next few days, or this week?

Always nice to hear what everyone else is easing into at this time of year.

While I’m planning the next series of videos, I’ve opened up a little winter offer for anyone who’s been thinking of booking a session, or gifting one to someone who needs a quiet hour with the Herd:

Buy One Session, Get One Free.

Use both yourself, or give one away.

Simple, calm, meaningful.

And don't forget. If there’s anything you’d like to see in the upcoming behind-the-scenes recordings — routines, turnout, welfare bits, feeding, rugs — let me know.

It helps with what comes next.
