S*x and birth are closer linked than conception.

In a physiological labour we want our thinking brain to switch off so we can surrender to the power, which is also what occurs during s*x.

A Doula!!

A Doula is a professional birth partner - support both physically and emotionally. Help navigate and advocate through a sometimes turbulent maternity system.

A 2008 study (McGrath and Kennell) found in an induced labour the presence of a Doula reduced the likelihood of an unplanned Caesarean.

Induced labour without a Doula - 58.8% had an unplanned Caesarean.
Induced labour with a Doula - 12.5% had an unplanned Caesarean.
