You've had your 6 week check and your partner thinks that is the go ahead to have s*x? Yeh?

Well no actually.

Your 6 week check rarely examines you internally, checking for prolapse or remaining damage.

And postnatally, particularly if you're breastfeeding, you may experience low labido and vaginal dryness.

Not to mention having a baby touching you all day, the last thing you might want is someone else touching you.

The average time post birth are:

6 weeks - 33%
12 weeks 78%
6 months 88%

But if you want to have s*x at 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years after childbirth, then it is your choice when you feel ready.

It's really cold right, really F**king cold.

And the urge to layer the baby up in the freezing wagon is high. But STOP! 🛑

Layer's under seatbelts are so dangerous. They compromise the fit and safety of the seat and if you were to have an accident they wouldn't be effective.

When it's cold, layer over the seatbelts. Blankets over their lap, cardigans on back the front over the belts.

But never under.
