Market Harborough Physio vaccinated ✔️

All our clinicians have now had the covid vaccine as to ensure even more safety for our customers.

A big thank you to the NHS for making this happen so swiftly.

We are still open and taking bookings throughout lockdown.

*needless to say all covid safe procedures are still in place and full PPE will still be worn.

We are closely monitoring government guidelines of when the business can return to work. However, a quick update on what we have in place once we are safe to return:

✔️Full PPE in place at the clinic (face masks and shields).
✔️On return to work each patient one on one with social distancing where possible and each session half an hour apart from any other patient.
✔️ After each patient the surfaces, treatment bed, door handles and reception area will be fully sterilised.
✔️Full hand and arm wash following government and WHO guidelines between every patient with sterilising gel present in treatment room and reception.
✔️Fully certified from the London School of Hygiene in tackling the Novel Coronavirus (3 week course) as we feel we will be best prepared if we are fully certificated and understand more about the virus.

We would love to hear from anyone that has any other suggestions as to how we can proactively reduce any chance of any spread when returned to work.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m having to shut Harborough Physio for the foreseeable future until the worldwide pandemic gets sorted. We are actually on the essential workers list. However, I think we should all be sensible in this time of crisis. Social distancing is so important as to prevent the spread of this virus and we cannot stick to these protocols with effectively treating patients. We are offering any advice and remote physio sessions via zoom/Skype going forward for any injuries that treatment and/or advice is essential. *Attention all over 70s and anyone with underlying health issues (or anyone who knows someone in this bracket pass on the message. Mums/dads and grandmas/grandads)*

I realise most of you will be self isolating and probably panicked about the ongoing problems due to the Corona Virus. For what ever reason you cannot get to our clinic and are living with an injury and/or pain.

I am personally offering no extra charges for home visit appointments while this virus is going on. They will be charged at exactly the same price as if you were coming to the clinic. I’ll try my level best to make it affordable and accessible to all especially the most in need at this present time.

I myself will be symptom free. All equipment will be fully cleaned and sterilised before use. Hand gel and hand/arm washing will be completed before any treatment session starts and I have just ordered a face mask as to limit any spreading as much as humanly possible. As self isolation is key this is for the exceptional measures that pain is just too much and treatment is paramount and essential.

For everything else I’m a phone call away and I’ll try my best to help as much as possible without having to do any hands on treatment or use any intervention where possible. Let’s all stay safe and stick together.

Business will be open as usual. We will be closely monitoring government updates along with the NHS protocols.

What we are doing to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus:

Clinic has regular deep cleans.

Risk assessing all patients.

Ringing and consulting with any patients deemed under the bracket of elderly, vulnerable or have any underlying health issues. They will be given the necessary care following protocol.

Hand sanitisers and hand and arm wash are performed before/after patients following the WHO guidelines.

*Please can I ask all patients with any symptoms as mild as they maybe to follow the self isolation procedure and if any advice needs to be given just give the clinic a phone call.

Whilst we are in this testing times we have decided that all cancellations are free of charge. All I ask is to contact the clinic, look after yourself and stay safe.
