I think I was 13 the first time I heard the saying, proper preparation prevents piss-poor performance. I fu***ng love it. I fully buy into the fact that if you are properly prepared, you are way less likely to do things poorly. The end, period.
Whether it's a morning routine, a training session, a presentation— your performance and delivery is vastly improved by your level of preparation.
And, you know what, f**k it, I'm a fat loss coach. I may as well sit here and discuss how it then bleeds into fat loss. Your preparation around the food that you have in the house and how that makes decision-making easier. Your preparation around what days you're in the office this week, when are you eating in restaurants this week? How can we get prepared for that? What curveballs can we foresee this week? How do we get prepared for those? This preparation makes the whole process easier.
What evenings are clear for us to train on? Let's get them in the diary. What days are we going to have to train in the mornings? Let's get that in the diary. Let’s get everything dialed in and organized because if you do that, your chances of success by consistently doing things well, they go through the fu***ng roof.
