Armed Forces Community Open Day
Wed 25 Feb 2026 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
London Road Sports Pavilion, Louth LN11 9QP
The aim of our Armed Forces Community Open Day is to have a ‘one-stop-shop’ for Veterans and their families to walk in, have a 'brew' and see what services are available to them (locally and nationally), plus how to access that support. Some of the services that regularly attend and provide real-time information, advice and guidance are as follows: Veterans UK, RFEA, DWP, RAFBF, Help for Heroes, Carers First, Health Watch, Op Courage (an NHS service), Connect to Support Lincolnshire, Blind Vets UK & Op Nova, to name but a few.
Timings are 10:00 to 14:00, but please note that if you arrive in the last hour, there is no guarantee that the service you want to access will still be there.

LGBTQ+ History Month is about more than looking back, it’s about moving forward, together.
This month we celebrate the activists, artists, elders and everyday people who fought for the rights, visibility and freedoms the LGBTQ+ community has today. Their courage built the world we stand in and reminds us that progress is never accidental.
But history month isn’t only about remembrance.
It’s about responsibility.
It’s about asking how we create safer schools, safer streets, safer healthcare, safer homes, not just for LGBTQ+ people, but for everyone who’s ever felt unseen or unheard.
Together, we can shape a world where every person feels safe to live, love and be fully themselves.
Happy LGBTQ+ History Month 💛

What is Time to Talk Day?
Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s a day for all of us to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Why is talking important?
Talking openly and honestly can be the first step towards better mental health for everyone. It can even save lives. Talking can reduce stigma and help people feel comfortable enough to seek help when they need it.

The days and weeks after a su***de attempt can be overwhelming, and it can be hard to know what to say or do next.

Mind has tips to help you cope and guidance on how to support someone who has attempted su***de.
