I bang on about this a lot, however, it’s important you are aware of the current state of the aesthetics industry.

Someone can work one job one day and inject your lips the other. That’s how easy it is to be an aesthetics practitioner.

I know personally I would not feel safe with someone doing a day course and injecting my lips and I want you to be educated on the lack of regulations.

While fillers and aesthetics treatments are completely safe, it’s who is holding the syringe you should be afraid of.

I will continue to raise awareness of this until something changes. 🙏🏻

I had a lot of responses from my last post about this! Yes, aesthetic clinics will often say they are “Beauty Awards Nominees” or “Nominated for XYZ Award” and that’s something they purchased themselves.

I am not saying this is everyone, but I certainly see this so much and I do find that it is misleading. You haven’t been nominated if you had to purchase the nomination yourself!

What do you think of this? Do you think this is a scam too?

A small upper lip can be about adding dermal filler or having a lip flip which lifts it with anti wrinkle injections to make it more visible, instead of rolling under when you smile.

Sometimes you’ll need or want both, however, it’s best to go slow and see how you feel, which is exactly what we did with this lovely lady.
