Time for a bit of a break after what’s been quite a crazy year! Christmas can be a strange time of year, happy for some, not so much for others but I hope you all find some time to relax and enjoy what we have around us, I plan to with my ‘little’ dog Glenn 😄 (he’s too big for most dog outfits but he tried 😉)

Bunions…… they’re painful. This 👇 explains why they happen. Most footwear is designed for fashion not foot health! If your feet don’t function properly your body often doesn’t either. This can create back pain, hip or knee pain, sometimes even shoulder pain.
Choose wisely 😉

How to create a bunion:
Wear pointed shoes that angle your big toe unnaturally in the median direction (towards your other toes)
Raise the heel to increase forefoot load and maximize the pressure on the mis-aligned big toe
Repeat this with consistent use of said shoes (high heels are the craziest version but 95% of all shoes are the same but less intense
How to not get bunions: wear shoes that align with natural human function

Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter, this year seems to be flying by already!

Just a quick update to say that I will be unavailable in clinic for two weeks from Monday 25th April as I will be on jury service.

Apologies if I’ve missed any messages in the last few weeks, it’s been a hectic time for various reasons. Due to this and jury service I’ve had to make the decision that I will be unable to take on new clients for now to keep on top of things, I will update my page as soon as I am able to book new clients in again.
