Grief and Loss Support for Children and Young People

We recognise that grief and loss for anyone can be a distressing time and can feel intense and difficult. These are natural reactions, and for most people they ease over time with support from family, friends and wider networks.

There are lots of organisations and resources both locally and nationally that can support people through this difficult period, helping people to understand and process grief and loss and what they can do to self-care or support someone else. Please click on the link below for more information.

NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has launched a new survey to hear from people who use Stoma, Bowel, Transanal Irrigation (TAI) or catheter products, along with their carers, about their experiences and what could be improved. We are asking for your support in promoting this important opportunity to the people and communities you work with.

The survey aims to understand what is working well, what could be improved, and how services can be shaped to better meet local needs. The feedback collected will support the ICB’s review of how Stoma, Bowel, TAI and Catheter care products and services are provided across Lincolnshire.

How to take part

Patients, carers and anyone who uses these services are invited to complete the survey online:

Anyone needing support to complete the survey, or requiring it in another format or language, can contact the Engagement Team:

• Email: licb.involveus@nhs.net
• Phone: 07814 939396

The NHS Lincolnshire ICB is asking for your support in raising awareness of ovarian cancer — a condition that affects around 7,600 women in the UK each year, making it the sixth most common cancer in women.

We are developing a public awareness campaign to help more women recognise the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer earlier. To make this campaign as effective as possible, we need your help.

Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey and help us:

- Understand current awareness levels of ovarian cancer and its symptoms

- Identify knowledge gaps across our communities

- Shape clear, impactful messages that are meaningful

Complete the survey: https://lincolnshire.icb.nhs.uk/ovarian-cancer

Your feedback will directly influence how we communicate this vital information.

We have been made aware of a scam involving phone calls from individuals claiming to be nutritionists requesting to change your medication. These callers may ask for payment over the phone and request your bank details.

Please be advised that this is a scam and is not associated with our surgery in any way. Do not provide any personal or financial information. We recommend hanging up immediately if you receive such a call.

Our doctors have been subjected to racial abuse. This will not be tolerated. The overwhelming majority of our patients in our community are lovely and welcome these clinicians and recognise the immense contribution they make to our town. Our doctors also feel privileged to treat them. We are very fortunate to have many skilled doctors who chose to travel across the world to work with us for the benefit of our local people. No one should feel unsafe or unwelcome in their workplace. Our practice ethos is that all staff and patients should be treated with respect at all times, this racist behaviour will not be tolerated, and actions will be taken by the practice against this as no one should be treated differently.
