Selkie Spring Gathering – what a day 🌻🌞
On Saturday we came together to welcome the arrival of spring, to slow down, to rest, and to connect. No pressure, no expectations – just space to breathe, create, and gently set intentions for the season ahead.
We gathered around the crackling fire while the beautiful Clementine Monro guided us through her dreamy soundscapes and goddess-inspired meditations, giving me the space to gently work with the group on an energetic level. We journaled what needed to be released, pulled cards, shared mini readings, ate, drank, laughed, and created handmade divination tools purely from intuition and feeling. Nothing forced. Nothing perfect. Just real.
This was only my second ever gathering, so of course the nerves were still there. I wanted it to feel just as magical and meaningful as the solstice gathering, and I truly hope the women who came felt rested, supported, and seen throughout the day 🤍
What isn’t always seen is that the preparation for these gatherings takes months. So much quiet, behind-the-scenes making, planning, coordinating, creating, and pouring love into the little details. I just hope that this always comes through for the lovely souls who arrive on the day ✨
I spent time hand-sculpting and crafting individual hangings for each woman, woven around their birth dates, Celtic folklore, and the energy of nature. I also hand-wrote and printed personalised seasonal messages, and each woman took home wildflower seeds planted into a simple spring egg ritual to carry their intentions into the months ahead 🌱
As always, it wasn’t scripted. It wasn’t traditional. I absolutely forgot things and didn’t know everything (not that I’ll ever profess to). It definitely wasn’t polished. But it was honest, gentle, and completely from the heart.
A Summer Solstice gathering is on the horizon, think a collective of powerhouse local practitioners and a FULL DAY RETREATTTTTTT ….🌞👀
