Hi, I'm Clare. Beauty therapist and aromatherapist with over 35 years experience in the beauty industry. I've worked doing salon and home based treatments alongside working for the big giant companies such as Clarins. I've formulated as a hobby the past 20 years, and this was always where my passion laid. As I hit my forties, my skin changed massively. After a minor illness, my skin became reactive to everything. I was diagnosed with seborrhoeic dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, and polymorphic light eruption. I lost my confidence and didn't want to leave the house. My skin was swollen, sore, splitting. My young daughter used to look at me, saying poor mummy's skin. My partner would order random creams off the internet, anything natural, new but to no avail. The only thing that seemed to work was steroid creams, but overuse of these created more problems and thinning skin, so I wasn't just sore but dry and looking older. Kinesiology at my local hospital had shown i was allergic to many things, especially preservatives, so I began formulating again, researching , gathering . My creams contain no water, so there's no need for preservatives . This was the big game changer for me, and my skin began to heal. And the idea of apple & bee began. Fast forward several year's and here I am helping others to look and feel better about their skin. Xx
