✨ HEALED HAIRSTROKE BROWS ✨

👩⚖️ The hairstroke technique with machine (it’s NOT microblading) is actually the most difficult technique in the permanent makeup world.
🫣 When I first trained with Natalya Yeremyenko (a huge name in the industry and known as the “mother of the hairstrokes”) in 2019, I remember she said it took her 10 years to develop and perfect her technique — and not gonna lie, I was in a bit of disbelief.
☠️And guess what? A few years down the line, I can admit it officially — it’s the most humbling technique ever.
🧎♀️➡️I’ve gone from, “There’s no way doing some thin lines is that difficult, right?” to “Naaahhhh, it’s actually easy,” to now, “Yep, it’s super difficult. Should have listened to the other PMU veterans from the beginning.”
The key phrase here is “some thin lines”…
In fact, the hairstrokes are supposed to fully mimic natural brows and look super duper natural. And NO — they don’t really grow as straight lines at the front and a kind of herringbone pattern on the tail, right?
🥁Everyone’s brow growth pattern is unique — kind of like fingerprints — and ideally, tattooed hairstrokes should perfectly blend in with that pattern, not go against it.
🎨 Also, the pigment colour should 100% match your natural brow colour. Imagine having really blonde natural eyebrows and super dark hairstrokes tattooed on — NO, it won’t look natural, and there is no way someone will convince me it will (sorry not sorry 🫣😅).
🙏 After 6 years ( and doing PMU all together for nearly 14 years) of switching from microblading hairstrokes to machine ones, countless masterclasses and mental breakdowns to perfect this skill, and late nights practicing, I can say — I think I’m getting it all quite decently (finally!).
