We’ve had great fun getting ready for Halloween with decorating our home and themed arts and crafts. We’ve even carved pumpkins and tucked in to some delicious home bakes.

Our residents along with our neighbours from Bawn Cottage enjoy a visit from an art tutor on a weekly basis. Through art our residents express their creativity, producing masterpieces which we proudly hang on the walls within our homes. Check this one out from last weeks class, isn’t it a spectacular 🧑‍🎨

Nothing says Spring like blooming daffodils and our residents have been hard at work planting bulb pots.

We’ll keep you up to date on our daffodil progress, here’s hoping they are in full bloom by Spring 🤞

If we’ve inspired you to plant some daffodils at home, here’s some top tips:

🌸 They are easy to grow and will last for generations as long as you respect a few rules.

🌺 They need to be planted deep as this supports the flower stems and makes them less prone to blowing over in windy weather.

🌹 A little feed and water in March will give them the resources they need to fatten up before they go dormant and die down.
