Here’s how to stay strong, mobile, and pain-free on site πŸ‘‡

Start your shift with dynamic moves β€” arm circles, leg swings, and side bends to loosen up and prep your body for lifting, bending, and climbing.

πŸ“¦ 2. Lift Smart
Bend your knees, keep your back straight, and engage your core. Small adjustments = big protection for your back and shoulders.

⏸️ 3. Take Micro-Breaks
Quick mobility resets β€” shoulder rolls, chest stretches, back bends, calf raises β€” keep your joints moving and energy up all day.

Meet Joanne β€” or Jo!

I’m the new girl… well, it’s been nearly two years, but I still get asked, β€œHave you just started?” πŸ˜‚

I’m the end-of-the-week girl β€” I work Thursdays and Fridays, plus one Saturday a month (because apparently, I like to keep things interesting).

I spent about 34 years living overseas until a man lured me back to the UK to marry him 🧐 β€” and yes, I fell for it! So, my dog Obie and I finally packed up our sunny life abroad and settled in lovely Faringdon.

Before joining Sophie, I worked in mainstream tourism and then medical tourism for over 30 years β€” so moving into this role was a surprisingly smooth landing (fewer airports, more smiles!).
