We’ve been making the most of the brighter days and spending more and more time out in the garden, getting everything ready for the Summer months ahead. This week, we have been busy refreshing our hanging baskets.

We recently revisited Cotswold Airport, and it turned into a real highlight for all of us. While sitting in the bus, we found ourselves right next to something truly special - the only surviving, complete Bristol Britannia that served in the Royal Air Force.

Known as the “Whispering Giant,” this incredible aircraft is the only genuine RAF version left in existence! Standing beside such a rare piece of aviation history felt like stepping back in time. ✈️

On Friday, our team came together in a sea of pink to celebrate . It was a wonderful opportunity to honour the incredible women in our community, our colleagues, and the inspiring women who support and care for others every single day.

As part of our celebration, we encouraged donations to Women's Aid, an amazing charity that works tirelessly to support women and children affected by domestic abuse. Thank you to everyone who contributed - your kindness truly makes a difference.

We are always delighted to welcome the wonderful children from Marlborough St Mary's Primary School, and this time for a reading session with our residents.

Intergenerational activities like these are so important - they help build understanding, spark meaningful conversations, and create friendships that cross generations. Our residents love the energy and curiosity the children bring, and the children gain a unique sense of connection, confidence, and empathy from spending time with older adults.
