This part of a Kriya affects Swadhisthana, or the Sacral Chakra and gets us in touch with whatβs known as the βgratitude lineβ in Kundalini Yoga - the connection between the head, heart and gut brains. The head brain is where we intellectualise/analyse, the heart brain is about giving/receiving, or surrender/action, and the gut brain is about connection and nourishment. Through practice, we aim to live our lives through the connection of all three π
π§‘ Twists in Rock Pose - Sit on your heels in Rock Pose and take hold of the shoulders with fingers in front and the thumbs at the back. Inhale as you twist left, exhale as you twist to the right. Continue for 2-3 minutes.
π§‘ Sufi Grind - Sit in Easy Pose with the hands on the knees. Rotate the torso in a counterclockwise direction for 1 1/2 minutes, then rotate in a clockwise direction for another 1 1/2 minutes.
Keep the eyes closed and focus on the third eye centre throughout the practice π
