Youth Work Week day 1: Introduction to youth work week
This week is Youth Work Week, a week that is all about celebrating youth work ๐
Weโre starting off Youth Work Week by celebrating one of our own Youth Workers: Angel Ranger-Burgess, Youth Participation Officer ๐Angel has just started in her 10th year in youth work with Buckinghamshire Council. Recently, we received this touching feedback from a young person about her:
โWhat makes Angel truly remarkable is the way she touches the lives of others. She makes every child in care feel seen, valued and important. She makes them feel like more than just a number, like they matter and are worthy of love and hope. The care, kindness and attention she gives are not just actions, they are life changing. I cannot overstate how much of a difference she makes in giving us a sense of belonging and self-worth. She is a true role modelโ
Weโll be sharing posts all week about whatโs available for young people in Buckinghamshire!
