🎈What an amazing week of birthdays we had! Following the excitement of Sid’s 100th on Sunday, we were treated to a trio of wonderful celebrations. Our very own celebrity Paddy turned 95 on Monday, Maggie celebrated 91 incredible years on Tuesday, and Christine marked her 86th on Saturday with family and friends.
Many happy returns to all three of you, it’s been a joy celebrating with you! 🎂✨

🍕🍅🧀🍍Earlier this week, staff and residents came together for a fun and tasty pizza making session! Our Italian chef, Saverio, proudly guided everyone in creating the perfect dough, before residents added their favourite toppings and tucked in to their delicious homemade pizzas. 🍕 Yum!

We stepped back in time by 50 years this week and enjoyed the tastes and sounds of the fabulous 70s! 🕺✨
On Wednesday we held our biannual Gala Lunch, and it was truly a fantastic afternoon from start to finish. Our 70s-inspired menu went down a treat, and it was lovely to see residents and staff coming together to enjoy such delicious food, great conversation and plenty of laughs.
The atmosphere was amazing, with everyone having a really good time and getting into the spirit of the decade. There was lots of smiling, singing along and of course a boogie on the dance floor! 💃🪩
A huge thank you to 'November Nights' Mack Entertainment for the brilliant entertainment, they really made the day extra special and helped create such a memorable and enjoyable gala for everyone

Burns Night took a little bit of a back seat today as although we enjoyed Scottish songs, haggis, and a wee dram, the real celebration was for something truly special…Sid’s 100th birthday! 🎉🎂

Sid was honoured with a visit from fellow servicemen, who kindly brought gifts, and he was absolutely delighted to receive his card from King Charles. What an incredible moment! 👑

He then spent the afternoon celebrating with family and friends, surrounded by love, laughter, and plenty of smiles.

Many, many happy returns, Sid! What a milestone and what a legend! 🥳✨
