🎉 Congratulations to Sam - Our March Employee of the Month! 🎉

We are absolutely delighted to celebrate Sam for this well deserved recognition. As an exceptional member of our wellbeing team, Sam consistently goes above and beyond in everything she does.

Recently, when entertainment for our country hoedown had to cancel due to illness, Sam stepped in and organised a line dancer at the last minute. Thanks to her quick thinking and dedication, the afternoon was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, we are incredibly grateful!

Sam regularly excels in her role and truly lights up the building with her positivity and presence.

Well done, Sam and thank you for everything you do! 🩷

🌸🐰 Happy Easter from everyone at Cliveden Manor! 🐣💐
We’ve had such a fun and festive week getting ready for Easter - baking our own Simnel cake, enjoying plenty of hot cross buns, watching our tiny chicks hatch, enjoying themed entertainment and even welcoming a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.

It’s been a week full of smiles, springtime magic, and wonderful moments shared together. Wishing all our residents, families, and friends a bright and joyful Easter filled with happiness and hope. 💛🌷🐇

I was very privileged as the Client Liaison Manager here at Cliveden Manor to step out into the community and be welcomed by the Fellowship Team at the Marlow Methodist Church to present to an audience on many aspects of care, what is on offer, where to start, why should you consider a care home and much more. There followed a Q&A session and refreshments for all. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and a big thank you to our resident here at Cliveden Manor, Bob for his introduction to this lovely Team in Marlow and I should add that the coffee at The Ark Café is pretty good too! - Louise Palmer

💙 Why do we work in care?
If you ask anyone in this profession, the answer is nearly always the same - because of our residents, their families, and the positive difference we are privileged to make in people’s lives every single day.

It means the world to us when the dedication and compassion shown by our team is recognised with such thoughtful words.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Cliveden Manor for the care and comfort you provided, making such a meaningful impact in the later years of Brian and Sandra’s lives. We will miss them dearly and we will also miss seeing Caroline, who has been such a lovely presence within our home.💛

We always love hearing ideas for activities, whether they come from our residents, families, or staff 💡
With country music becoming more popular, one fantastic suggestion was to host a Country & Western Day… and we think it’s safe to say we absolutely nailed it 🤠🎶
Our residents absolutely loved listening to, singing along, and toe-tapping to well known favourites from Dolly Parton and John Denver, it truly brought back some wonderful memories 🎤💛
We enjoyed a brilliant session of country music with Johnny from Mack Entertainment who was fantastic, really got into the spirit of the event, and a huge special thank you goes to Kevin, who stepped in at the very last minute to deliver an impromptu (but very welcome!) line dancing class 👏
Kevin has definitely gained some new recruits, several of our staff are already saying they’d love to attend the next class!
I think it’s safe to say… we’ll definitely be doing this again! 🤠✨

What a wonderful and busy start to spring it’s been here at Cliveden Manor! 🌸☀️
2026 is all about resident-inspired activities and clubs, and we’re so proud to be building a programme shaped by the people who matter most...our residents. We always encourage feedback and suggestions, and it’s already making a difference, with the launch of our weekly Rummikub club! 🎲
This month has been full of special moments, including a lovely trip to Windsor Riverside, complete with an impromptu afternoon tea at Browns ☕🍰. Our St Patrick’s Day celebrations were a real highlight, full of fun, laughter, and great company! 🍀
We’ve also been keeping active and creative with:
✨ Moveball exercise classes
🌱 Gardening sessions
🎨 Arts & crafts
🟡 Giant Connect 4 games
🚶‍♀️ Riverside walks
🧁Baking
…and so much more!
As we head further into spring, we’re looking forward to more sunshine filled days and continuing to grow our already packed programme working closely with our residents to introduce even more clubs and activities they love. 💛

Did anyone catch the news last week saying the hottest place in the UK on Wednesday was 18°C at Kew Gardens? Well… how lucky were we to be there to enjoy it! ☀️🌿

While we were there, we visited the Orchid Festival, celebrating its 30th year, with stunning flower displays inspired by China. 🌸 It was absolutely beautiful.

We made the most of the day with a lovely picnic lunch, a walk along the treetop walkway, a stroll around the lake, and a visit to the Palm House before heading home.

Such a lovely day out and a perfect way to enjoy the sunshine! 😊

Delighted to be joined by the team from Windsor Auctions, Harry Ballin and LuLu for another enlightening afternoon of entertainment, intrigue, education and for some, wonderful surprises when presenting their antiques. We welcomed those in the community, residents, their families and staff too, lots to enjoy including a lovely afternoon tea with the compliments of Cliveden Manor. We are already looking forward to the next one!! Thank you once again to Team Windsor Auctions.
