🎄✨ We’re packing in the festive fun this month!✨🎄
There’s so much going on, and our residents have been loving every moment.

This Wednesday, we took a magical trip to Blenheim Palace to experience their incredible Wizard of Oz themed Christmas display. With dazzling lights, beautiful trees and garlands, and enchanting sounds throughout, it truly felt like stepping into another world. 🌈⭐️

Michael especially enjoyed a lovely chat with Dorothy herself and even helped her find her way home along the Yellow Brick Road! 💛🌟

Before heading back, everyone had a wander around the Christmas market, soaking up the festive atmosphere and twinkling stalls.

What a wonderful day out to start our December celebrations! 🎅🏼✨

✨ Elf Day Fun at Cliveden Manor! ✨

Yesterday we had a bit of festive fun with Elf Day and our very own cheeky duo....Elf on the Shelf, Cheeky McMittens, and our naughty elf, Caramel Figgybum, who was (of course!) up to no good! 🤭

It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, mischief, and holiday cheer. A great start to many more dressing-up days to come as we head into the festive season! 🎄😀

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿On Sunday we celebrated St Andrew’s Day in style! 💙
A huge thank you to the amazing Slough Scots Dancers who kindly came in and filled the afternoon with energy, music, and wonderful Scottish spirit. Our residents, families, and staff had an absolutely fantastic time, we’re so grateful for the joy they brought! 💃🕺

And after all that dancing, we refreshed ourselves the true Scottish way… with a Whiskey Mac and some delicious shortbread! 🥃🍪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🎄 Christmas Fair Success! 🎄

On Saturday we held our Christmas Fair, with a wonderful variety of stalls, including our raffle, which raised over £200 for Age UK! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. It was a fantastic day and a brilliant kick-off to the Christmas season. ✨

This month we proudly took part in the Cakes4Kindness initiative, now in its third year. Our residents had a wonderful time decorating and icing a selection of delicious cakes, and on Monday we delivered them to the lovely ladies and gents at Marlow Age Concern.
They enjoyed the treats with a warm cuppa during their bingo game, we hope they loved every bite! 💛🍰

🌹 A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful carer, Vanessa and her family, who popped in last weekend to gift our residents some beautiful roses “just because.”

It was such a thoughtful gesture, and the residents were absolutely thrilled.
Moments like these truly brighten our home.

What a lovely turn out last week, so many battled through the traffic and came such a distance for our Networking Breakfast Meet Up at Cliveden Manor, really grateful to you all for making the effort to meet Team Cliveden. So many different professions connecting, sharing stories, exchanging details and ultimately helping those in the community, thank you.

✨ We’re getting into the Christmas spirit early at Cliveden Manor! ✨

We’ve enjoyed two lovely trips to local garden centres recently. The gents had a fantastic time at Moss End Garden Village and the reptiles were a huge hit! They also explored the gift shop, Michael was especially enamored with a cute toy dog he spotted! 🐶💛, and admired the beautiful Christmas lights.

The ladies then visited Toad Hall Garden Centre, where their stunning winter wonderland displays made the whole trip feel magical and they couldn't resist trying on some of the Christmas Accesories ❄️🎄

It just goes to show that sometimes the simplest outings bring the most joy. 💛

🌟 Shining Star Award for Kporser 🌟

Today we proudly presented one of our nurses, Kporser, with a special Shining Star Award! ✨

Kporser has shown incredible initiative, resilience, and compassion, going above and beyond her duties recently. She has supported residents through end-of-life care and offered equal comfort and guidance to their families.

Her dedication has not gone unnoticed, she has received numerous compliments from both residents and families for her outstanding care and support.

Today, we remembered our fallen with a heartfelt Remembrance Day service. ❤️🌺

Last week, our residents visited the amazing poppy display at Marlow Causeway, thousands of beautifully knitted and crocheted poppies adorned the gates of All Saints Church and the park, creating a truly stunning sight.

Throughout the week, we spent time making our own paper poppies, adding them to our door display in honour of those who served and sacrificed.

This morning, residents came together for a moving service, we sang hymns, shared readings, and reflected together. A special thank you to Reverend Mieke for stepping in at short notice to lead our service, and our prayers go out to Reverend Fiona for a speedy recovery. 💐

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
