One of our own Qigongers Giles Ayling is running to raise money for an amazing charity Stamp Out Su***de, started by Colm Farrell and for which our own Qigong Teacher Wild Swan Mark volunteers. They have saved many lives and rely on kind donations to keep the charity going.

Our free Community Qigong Park Sessions, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10am, are a great way to recharge, ground and practise, and to connect with other like minded people locally, both in practise and also afterwards at the The M Cafe, and other various social activities.

Our community has many members themselves who are also Teachers and Professionals, in wellness and health professions, including disciplines such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, Massage, Chiropractors, Fitness, Dance, Pilates, Martial Arts, Acupuncturists/Chinese Medicine, Doctors, Psychotherapists, Reiki, Nurses, Nutritionists, Breathwork, Sound Healing, Carers, Social Workers, Meditation, Teachers, etc etc

It is a perfect opportunity for those of us who spend our time out in the community, in Gyms, Clubs, Hospitals, Health Centres, Schools, etc, helping and healing others, to return to ourselves and self care “looking after the ambulance” for regular sessions too.

As we step into December, the final month of the year, it’s a perfect moment to pause… breathe… and gently gather our energy.

Qigong teaches us to flow with the seasons. Winter invites stillness, restoration, and inner warmth. It’s a time to slow down, nourish your body, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Today, take one mindful breath.
Let go of the tension from the past 11 months.
Allow space for clarity, healing, and quiet strength.

Yesterday was the end of National Self-Care Awareness Week, However caring for yourself should continue!

We hope you found a few moments to breathe, move, and reconnect with yourself.

This week we explored how Qigong can help you:

✨ release tension the body has been holding
✨ nourish your energy when life feels draining
✨ feel supported through community
✨ reconnect with your natural flow
✨ reset emotionally and physically for the week ahead

Self-care isn’t a luxury — it’s a quiet promise we make to ourselves.
A promise to listen, slow down, and honour what our mind and body are asking for.
