What a lovely summer morning - who'd have thought it was November. Well done to everyone who was out running and walking around our course.

Big shout-out to Neil, who ran his 500th this morning. His first run was on the 13th September 2008 at Wimbledon Common.

Thank you to the 24 volunteers who made the event run like clockwork. We normally struggle for volunteers during school holidays, so thank you.

We are planning on having a Christmas meet-up in Marlow on the 3rd of December. We'll share the logistics closer to the time.

Well done to everyone this morning at event number 246.

Someone picked up a black Nike walker top by mistake. If you did, please let us know, and we can return it to its owner.

Also, someone lost a red Hillingdon Triathletes top last week. If you have picked this up, please let us know.

We still have someone's airpod.

And finally, we are missing 3 tokens from this morning, if you could let us know and return them next week.

The forecast currently has things getting quite windy at 8am. We’ll be checking the course around this time to make sure things are ok.

If we have a problem we’ll update as soon as we can both on parkrun cancellations but also on here.

If things do get windy please be careful travelling to us.

We are supporting Macmillan at our Coffee Morning parkrun takeover this Saturday.

At Macmillan, we understand that a traditional coffee morning with tables full of freshly baked cakes, urns with hot teas and coffees, and walls hung with bunting isn’t always practical,
particularly in a muddy UK park at the end of September!

That’s why we believe in doing Coffee Morning YOUR way, whatever that might look like.

Lovely to have the local Army Reserve unit showing up this morning - and helping out as Marshals too. Big thanks to all the other volunteers this morning. Weather was great and no puddles despite yesterday's rain, so hope everyone enjoyed their run (or walk). Lots of PBs - and an amazing performance from Kate Ramsey, finishing 2nd in under 20 minutes.
