Hello everyone, trusting that you are all well and abiding by the rules.
Ive been asked by a number of people about what I am doing/using to keep well and healthy etc.
So, I thought it would be good to share my own strategies for this time period.
Firstly, I would suggest, that being healthy and well has been a lifetime habit for me, and for something to be effective with lasting results, it needs to be done consistently and persistently.
So, now is as good a time to start as any.
1) Eat wel..... Junk food in...Junk food body..... Very simply, I eat fresh, home cooked food. Veggies, fruits, variety of beans, lentils etc and quality meats.
I have a wide and varied diet....I steer away from fast food and limit sugar intake.
2) Have been using Supplements for over 20yrs now. People have asked me about Vit C to 'Boost' the immune system.
Im not a nutritionist, my understanding is that we need all the nutrients at the right level for our bodies to function at their optimum.

3) Exercise: Again, a lifelong thing for me. Keep it simple,
I do:
Squats
Pressups
Star Jumps
Sit ups
Burpees
Plank
Lunges
I use Shopping bags full of bottled water etc to use for weight training.
Simple Meditation and breathing exercises
4) Being a Muslim I pray 5 times a day. This connects me to the 'Higher Source', provides comfort and an understanding that everything has a purpose.
5) Keep a positive mindset by reading and connecting with people who have that mindset.
I focus on gratitude and avoid unnecessary dwelling on negative issues.
These are some of the basic things I am doing.
We all must find what can work for us.
