🤍 Mother’s Day can bring many emotions. 🤍

For some it’s cards, flowers and celebration.
For others it’s memories and quiet moments of reflection.

In the work I do as a celebrant, I often hear the most beautiful stories about mums their strength, kindness, humour and the ways they shaped the lives of the people who loved them.

However today feels for you, be gentle with yourself.

Thinking of everyone remembering their mum today.

🥺 People sometimes think celebrants must learn how not to feel emotion.

🤍🤍 The truth is that we feel every bit of the emotion.

🕊️ However, when I’m in my funeral celebrant role, I need to be strong for the family. My job is to make sure the wonderful things said about their loved one are heard and remembered.

🤍 But it’s often not until I get back into the car after the service that I allow myself to feel the emotion.

🌱 Helping families honour someone they love is always a privilege, even on the hardest days.

That desire to honour someone properly can feel like an added weight when you’re already grieving.

My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and creating a ceremony that truly reflects your loved one’s life and values.

And what better day to say hi than Valentine’s Day? 🤍

Love shows up in so many ways, in joyful weddings, in quiet moments of remembrance, and in the care we take when marking life’s important milestones.

I’m Ally, a celebrant who creates personal, meaningful ceremonies that truly reflect the people at their heart.
