🌼Day sits in Bakewell and surrounding areas🌼

Our team leader Alisha recently enjoyed a wonderful day out with our service user Peter in Bakewell!
They started their trip with a relaxing stop at the Wheat Sheaf for a drink, before heading to the Co-op for a bit of shopping. Making the most of the beautiful surroundings of Bakewell, they spent some time by the lake watching the ducks and local wildlife pass by. The day continued with a visit to the Peace Gardens where they treated themselves to a lovely ice cream before heading back home.

We absolutely love doing day sits! If you are ever in need, we offer them for £30 per hour - just drop us a message☺️

Our carers just don’t stop being amazing!🌟

We would like to take a moment to give a very special shoutout to our carer, Amber for her outstanding work and dedication recently💛

Amber found herself in a highly challenging situation where emotions were high and a service user’s partner was understandably distressed and causing a scene. With professionalism, compassion and calmness, Amber stepped in, de-escalating the situation and provided reassurance when it was needed the most.

Her ability to remain composed under pressure and handle such a sensitive moment with empathy truly reflects the incredible standard of care we strive for every day🌼

Well done Amber! You are a credit to the team and very deserving of this additional Carer of the Month recognition👏

We are so proud to announce Donna as our March Carer of the Month💛

Following the recent loss of one of our clients, Donna went above and beyond by giving her own time outside of work to support the client’s husband, showing him kindness and support when it was needed the most. He was so thankful for Donna and her companionship, resulting in her being recognised in a published article celebrating our clients life. In the article, Daisychain was mentioned with Donna described as a true godsend- something we couldn’t agree with more✨

Alongside this, Donna has taken on numerous new runs with confidence and positivity, receiving wonderful feedback from our clients and their families.

Donna is an incredibly caring and hardworking person who never fails to go the extra mile.

🌟CARER OF THE MONTH🌟

We have chosen Kadie as our February Carer of the month, as she was recently moved onto a new round in a complete different area. The change didn’t faze her at all, she adapted instantly and has already made a massive impact on the care and wellbeing of the clients on this run.
We have received multiple compliments from clients contacting the office, praising Kadie for her amazing work and for being such a lovely, kind person!

Kadie truly goes above and beyond every day, and we are incredibly proud to have her as part of our team 💛

Recently, one of our team leaders, Sara, found herself in an incredibly challenging and frightening situation while on shift. When she came across a man in urgent need of help, Sara didn’t hesitate.

She stepped up with courage, determination, and true dedication to her role, staying with him and offering support until emergency services arrived.

We are immensely proud of Sara for the compassion and strength she showed in such a difficult moment. She truly embodies our values and is a real inspiration to our team and our company 🌼✨
