Kerstin Monica Bacon
Of Wirksworth, Passed away on 1st April 2026, at her home, aged 72.
Beloved wife of David, much loved mum of Matthew and Danielle and Omi of Joshua and Elinor. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Kerstin’s Funeral Service will be held at Amber Valley Memorial Park & Crematorium on Thursday 30th April at 2.00pm.

On 24th March 2026, Louis of Middleton passed away peacefully at home aged 95 years.

Last week we were really pleased to host our Bereavement Support Drop-In in Matlock – a relaxed and welcoming space for anyone who may be navigating grief or simply wanting to talk with others who understand.

The group meets in the lovely private room at Mad Hatter, Matlock, Matlock, which provides a warm and comfortable setting for people to come together over a cup of coffee & share experiences, or simply sit and listen.

We’ve shared a few photos so you can see the space where the group takes place.

There’s no pressure to speak, no expectations, and everyone is welcome.

Our next Bereavement Support Drop-In will take place on Tuesday 5th May 10.30am to 11.30am. If you, or someone you know, might benefit from coming along, please feel free to join us.

Sometimes just being in the company of others who understand can make all the difference. 💛
