Mr John Hall of Wirksworth has sadly passed away aged 97 years.

Much loved and greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.

Funeral service to be held at Amber Valley Crematorium on Friday 17th April 2026 at 1pm.

It is with immense sadness that Roy’s family announce his passing on Sunday 8th February 2026 (his birthday) aged 76 years.
Roy was a much loved husband to Sylvia, a devoted dad to Amy and Lindsey and a treasured grandad to Renly, Roy, Summer and Kev.
Roy will be sorely missed by all his family and many friends.
A service to celebrate Roy’s life is to be held at St Mary’s Church, Wirksworth on Friday 13th March 2026 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation service. You are welcome to join family in wearing football tops, band t-shirts or whatever you are comfortable in. Of Wirksworth. Passed away on 2nd February 2026 at The Nightingale Community Hospital, Derby, aged 79.
A much-loved brother, father, and grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Paul’s Funeral Service will be held at Amber Valley Memorial Park & Crematorium on Wednesday 4th March at 3.00pm.

It is with immense sadness that we announce that Malcolm passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Sunday 11th January 2026 aged 90 years.

Malcolm was the much-loved husband of Carol, a devoted father to Paul, David and Kerry and a treasured father-in-law, granddad, brother, brother-in-law and a good friend to many.

Angela Tassell of Canterbury Terrace, Wirksworth has sadly passed away in Royal Derby Hospital on 27th December 2025 aged 64 years.

Beloved wife of Alan, a much-loved mum to Hannah and Charlotte and a special Grandma to Ernie, Sienna, and Nancy. Angela was a familiar and friendly face in the community; she will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her.

A service to celebrate Angela’s life will be held at St Mary’s Church, Wirksworth on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at 11.00am.

At the request of Angela’s family, please wear a splash of colour, something pink or purple to the funeral.
