🎵 Home Song 🎵

A welcome space at for you and your baby to listen, loosen, hum, vocalise, sing and connect. Anyone is welcome, whatever your relationship with singing. Our song and play space is held by Rachel Gay (Mum, Yoga teacher, song-leader, actor, drama facilitator), and myself.

Happy, content mums cue happy contented babies. This session is about you filling your own adult cup of joy and connection.

This is a Mum and Babes (0-2’s) group offering gentle connection and well-being through song. We’ll gather around the campfire, warm cuppa nestled in hands, babe upon your lap, nourishing snack bubbling away, surrounded by beautiful sounds. Moments for connection with yourself, your babe, each other and nature.

When: Friday 17th October
Time: 10am - 12 noon
Where: Nature’s Nest, Fulwood, S10 3QH
Cost: £12 per Mum and Baby

I’m running the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise awareness and funds for the charity Concerteenies who bring live music connections to 0-7 year olds and their communities, importantly including families who otherwise wouldn’t get access and exposure to live music in their setting.
will be there at the end offering up a fun yoga warm down for families, WHOOP. As a practitioner who used songs, rhythm, rhyme, melody and anything catchy to engage children with yoga I’m so supportive of this work as the benefits are so rich and far-reaching for babies and their future adult selves and therefore all of us!

I support children’s mental health through teaching yoga in schools and nurseries and by trying to look after my own mental health as an adult as best I can. It isn’t always easy, but I believe in it. This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. It is no more important than any other week in supporting children’s mental health but an important time to raise awareness. If you know of any child who you suspect to be experiencing poor mental health, there are loads of places and people to reach out to for help. There is always a glimmer, a crack, of light on dark cloudy days. Check out the links to find out more
