Halloween can pose specific difficulties for people living with a dementia. Disorientation, confusion, fear and anxiety can often become part of a person’s presentations, due to decorations, music and sound they hear within their environment.

New Space for Swim session at Arc Leisure, Matlock. Starting 17th September 2025 from 2pm till 3pm. FREE to attend for 10 weeks.
These sessions help to support those swimmers who would like
to swim at their own pace or require more space for a variety of
reasons. Each session is supported by a Swim Teacher who will help
facilitate a group environment & encourage new people to meet. These sessions have been supported by DDCVS Social Connectedness.
