Animal Healing

Animal Healing Welcome. My name is Annie Marston. I am an intuitive animal healer, helping animals here in UK and (Read Pumpkin's story here).

In 2002, my natural affinity with all animals reached a new level of understanding, thanks to my beautiful cat, Pumpkin. As a result of her intervention I have made animal healing my life's work. Annie is dedicated to bring hope, health, and healing to all animals. Since 2002 I have been privileged to help and heal many, many animals, alpacas and budgies, cockerels and cows, cats, dogs and horses with conditions ranging from arthritis, separation anxiety, tumours, epilepsy and so many more. The healing process that I offer, assists holistically because at its heart is the energy and power of unconditional love, for each and every one of these beautiful beings who bring so much joy to our lives.

Legs Benedict is a handsome lurcher 2-3yr old Lurcher who came to us for rehoming due to being an unclaimed stray. He came to us on Boxing Day, as that’s when his time was up at the pound!

Legs Benedict (Legs or Leggy B for short) is a very sweet boy… he’s very friendly, and loves people. He would be a great addition to the home. He could live with older children – he’s not shown any negative behaviour, but we don’t know his history.

Legs is a good natured soul, he seems to be good with the other dogs.. and walks well on the lead. He’s not sociable with cats or other small animals – we suspect he’s been used for ‘working’ in the past.

He loves to stretch in legs in our exercise compounds, but the real way to his heart is food! He loves food, and will do just about anything for a snack… which will making training easier!

Legs may not have lived in a home before, so may not be 100% housetrained… but we are confident that it wont take him long to learn.

What a brilliant way to recycle the Christmas tree- if you live near Ashford in Kent.
The animals benefit, you benefit and Mother Earth benefits . This is the new way, the genuine way forward .

Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree now that the festivities are coming to an end? 🎄 Please bring them to us! 😍🙏

Our animals love them! They’re a great enrichment and a tasty treat for our lovely residents.

Please kindly drop them off at our sanctuary:
📍 The Retreat, Brickyard Farm, Cripple Hill, High Halden, Ashford TN26 3LJ
If you could please leave them in our first car park to the left as you drive in, that would be super ✨

Please make sure all decorations are removed including all pieces of tinsel so they are safe for our animals to eat ☺️

Thanks so much!

🐾 Meet Ronnie & Roxy, Our Longest-Resident Sweethearts 🖤🤍

There is never a dull moment with this cheeky black-and-white sister duo! Currently in a foster home, these young girls are still waiting for their forever home together 💕

They absolutely love being near their people, so expect a pair of curious shadows following you from room to room. Full of energy, they adore playing together – it’s endless entertainment watching their bond in action!

✨ Ronnie is the ultimate cuddle bug. She’ll happily take any opportunity to sit on your lap and be fussed over. She’s also the more playful sister, especially when it comes to chasing balls and attacking cat teasers.

Both girls can be a little shy at first and will need a few days to settle in, but once you’ve earned their trust they are incredibly loving – especially if treats are involved! 🐟
They’ve previously lived with other cats and would be perfectly happy with another friendly feline.

🏡 Home they’re looking for:

Rehomed together only – their bond is too special to break

A calm, quiet household

No young children

These girls have been waiting far too long and truly deserve a loving home where they can finally settle in for good. Could that be with you?

A café in Greece has gained attention for a simple but compassionate practice. After closing for the night, the owners allow stray dogs to come inside and rest in the warm space, offering them safety from cold temperatures and harsh weather.

The gesture reflects a quiet form of everyday kindness rather than an organized rescue effort. By opening their doors after hours, the café provides vulnerable animals with comfort and protection, showing how small actions can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with nowhere else to go.

And now we are only 3 days away from the Winter Solstice. Glimpses of the sun have been a rare treat round here this week. The impression I get for today is “ Be Kind to Yourself”.

What a beautiful connection.

What a beautiful connection.

We are now in the last days of maximum darkness. Next Sunday in the northern hemisphere is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day. Many of us struggle with the lack of daylight so take heart , knowing that from 23rd December, each succeeding day brings more light.💡
We can support ourselves this week by avoiding those experiences which bring us down. Personally, I will not be reading any news headlines on my phone, I’ve not watched the news or read a paper since 2020.
I remember at school being astonished when my English teacher told me she never read the papers, this was when that was what everybody did as a matter of course.
Her stated opinion was that if she needed to know about something, she’d find out anyway.
I salute you Mrs Walters for your wisdom and example.

Bless their hearts.May they find their perfect home. 🙏

Hello! We are Fluffy and Simba. We're a bonded pair who are not currently at the rescue, but we need a new home ASAP. Sadly our previous owner has died, so family members are now popping into the house to feed us and put the heating on.

Here's a bit more about us:

"Once they get to know you they are attention seekers, very vocal, would prefer a house hold with no other animals and they have never been around young children under 9. They dislike really loud noises, (they can get into anywhere and can open fridges and cupboards) they love a good stroke and used to pin my grandad down for cuddles, they have a bit of separation anxiety if there not together and are indoor cats."

We are three years old, and are a brother and sister pair.

If you're interested in us, here's the adoption form to fill in: https://carlalaneanimalsinneed.co.uk/adoption-questionnaire/

Please only apply if you are genuinely committed to adopting, and can do so within the next seven days.
