Competitor Introductions
Today we are introducing our competitors from Mauchline YFC , Ryan Kennedy and Fiona Gemmell.
Ryan is a process operator. He joined young farmers at 15, skipped few years while he attended university but on his return jumped straight into the senior committee then rapidly climbing the ladder to chairman this year.
Outside of young farmers Ryan is a keen curler and Kilmarnock and Scotland football fan, he’s hoping to attend some of the World Cup coming up this year.
Fiona is this years club secretary. As a maths teacher she is trained to keep people organised and on track, an essential skill for her role.
She is an enthusiastic member of the club having initially been inspired to join by siblings. She is looking forward to supporting the club in the future.
Outside of Young Farmers Fiona enjoys reading, singing, baking, music and meeting up with friends even though it’s currently a challenge to keep up with hobbies while teaching and organising the club.
