🌸Remembrance Day Service 🌸
Today, our residents gathered for a heartfelt Remembrance Day service to honour the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom. The ceremony included moments of reflection, the recitation of The Last Post, and a minute of silence to remember those who gave their lives in service to their country. It was a moving and meaningful occasion that reminded us of the importance of remembrance, unity, and peace. 🌸

They marched away with heads held high,
Beneath a foreign, distant sky.
They fought for peace, for love, for home,
Through bloodied fields and endless foam.

Their voices stilled, their duty done,
Their courage lives in everyone.
In quiet hearts, their echoes stay,
Their sacrifice lights every day.

When morning breaks, when shadows fall,
We think of them — we honor all.
With every dawn, our vow the same:
We will remember them by name.

At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning’s golden gleam —
We will remember them.

Activities Lead Jo has been busy today making a start on our Christmas Raffle. Lots of prizes wrapped and on display, with Many more to come.Tickets are now on sale £1 per strip and can be purchased from reception or our activity team. 🎄🎅🧑‍🎄

With our christmas fair only a few weeks away, We are still looking for donations for our christmas raffle & Tombola 🥰.

🌟 Domestic Assistant Wanted 🌟 We are looking for a person who has a passion for cleanliness and all things s**c and span to join our Domestic team here at Stocks Hall Mawdesley ❤️ As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. You will be working 32 hours per week (4 days, 1 in 3 weekends). Working for Stocks Hall has many benefits including spa days at Stocks Hall Health Club & Spa for employee of the month, which is just next door! 🎃 Halloween Fun & Fond Farewells! 👻

Were having a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween with our residents — full of games, laughter, and plenty of treats (no tricks!). Everyone joined in the fun, showing off their costumes and enjoying a night to remember.

It's also a bittersweet afternoon as we said goodbye to our wonderful domestic, Sue, who’s moving on to exciting new pastures. We’ll miss her dearly but wish her all the best in her next adventure. 💐
