What a magical evening we had taking our residents to Mawdelsey Village Hall for this year’s Christmas panto! From the moment the curtain went up, the cast brought the stage to life with brilliant performances, sparkling energy, and plenty of festive cheer. A huge well done to every single member of the cast and crew — your hard work, talent, and enthusiasm shone through in every scene.

We didn’t stop laughing all night! The jokes, the costumes, the music, and the wonderfully silly moments had everyone smiling from start to finish. It was the perfect way to embrace the holiday spirit and create some truly special memories together.

A heartfelt thank you to Mawdesley Amateur Dramatic Society - MADS for giving us such a warm, joyful, and laughter-filled night. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s panto! 🎄✨🎭

💚Elf Day 2025 was an absolute blast! ❤️
Today our staff and residents transformed into a merry team of pint-sized mischief-makers, jingle bell enthusiasts, and full-time festive troublemakers. Everywhere you turned, there was another sparkly hat, stripy stocking, or pair of pointy shoes ready to spread some cheer!

Everyone went all-in on the fun—costumes were brighter, smiles were bigger, and the giggles were definitely louder. From cheeky elves causing laughter in the hallways to creative outfits worthy of Santa’s workshop runway, the effort was unreal and the results were amazing.

🎅Our residents had a wonderful time at the Christmas Tea Dance Party in Leyland yesterday afternoon. They enjoyed a festive afternoon tea, made new friends, and joined in a good old sing-along to some favourite Christmas songs. It was a joyful, heart-warming afternoon filled with laughter, music, and holiday cheer. 🎅

Today’s outing took us to Hesking Hall, where we enjoyed a relaxed browse around the shops, taking in the festive displays and lively atmosphere. A stop at the café was a must, and we treated ourselves to fresh scones and hot coffee—made even sweeter by unexpectedly bumping into some old friends along the way. ☕️🥧

This afternoon, the festive spirit continues as we settle into our first Christmas movie of the season, Christmas with the Kranks, playing in our amazing cinema room. With coffee in hand and mince pies on the side, it’s the perfect cosy way to welcome the holiday season.🧑‍🎄🎄🎅

This morning we took our residents out for a festive Christmas shopping trip to Tesco. We had such a lovely time browsing the aisles, trying on silly hats and colourful Christmas jumpers, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.🎄🎅🧑‍🎄

In the afternoon, we continued the fun with a cosy pub lunch at the Wheatsheaf Croston . A huge thank-you to the team there for the most delicious food — it was the perfect way to end a wonderful day out. 🍲🥘🥩

A huge congratulations to our wonderful Administration Team, Mia and Amelia, who have risen to glory and now reign as the Princesses of the Realm. 🌟✨

They wear their crowns with pride, honour, and just the right amount of sparkle. Thank you for your creativity, teamwork, and royal spirit—our realm is brighter because of you! 💖👸

✨ A Huge Thank You! ✨

What an incredible afternoon we’ve had at our annual Christmas Fair! We are absolutely thrilled to share that we raised a fantastic £452.30 — all thanks to the amazing support of everyone who came along today.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful ukulele group for filling the room with festive cheer through their brilliant Christmas songs. You helped make the atmosphere truly magical.

To everyone who kindly gave their time to help run the stalls — thank you. Your energy, smiles, and hard work made everything run smoothly

Thankyou to the staff, residents & their families for supporting us once again

Thankyou to our kitchen team for the amazing food 😋

A very special thank you to Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas, who brought so much joy and excitement to the day.
